Homemade Flea and tick spray...

8oz Apple Cider Vinegar
4oz Warm Water
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Baking Soda

Mix dry ingredients first then SLOWLY add to wet ingredients as vinegar and baking soda will react slightly and bubble and foam. Put in spray bottle and spray pets. Keep AWAY FROM EYES.

I don’t normally publish my personal life here, but here it is….

My mom has Alzheimer’s and heart conditions. I am doing my best to help my brother, who stays with her, and my mom WHENEVER they need me. Family is always first.

That may mean i have to unexpectedly cancel appts or I may have to bolt out of here for a bit to deal with something. My husband will always stay in shop to take care of any pets that are here and do his best to get them bathed and dried for me so I can finish them when I return.

This may mean your pet could be here a bit longer than normal.

I ask for understanding on this as Alzheimer’s doesn’t come with an instruction manual and we are swimming in unknown waters trying to stay afloat and sane.

I know this will be an inconvenience to some, unfortunately, it is what it is.

Be patient, be kind….you never know what the other person is going through.

⛈️⚡️ Are YOU Ready? ⚡️⛈️

It's that time of year, yall, when we have severe thunderstorms often. Have you done the preparations to keep you and your pets safe in the event of a natural disaster? When putting essentials in the storm shelter, are you putting essentials for your pets as well? Here are just a few things I recommend to keep your furry friends safe ♡

1️⃣ For dogs who get anxious during thunderstorms, put them in a secure room with a t.v. on and the volume turned up. Possibly give them a type of anxiety med, weighted vest, lots of familiar comfort items surrounding them, and of course make sure they are INSIDE.

2️⃣ Make sure to out essentials for your pets in the storm shelter.

3️⃣ Check & and double-check all fences to ensure there is nowhere for your pet to escape during a storm

4️⃣ Keep your pets inside during thunderstorms.

5️⃣ Be sure your pets have collars on that have tags with the vital UP-TO-DATE information needed to contact you in the case yall get separated.

6️⃣ MICROCHIP your pet.

Please….if your pet is coughing and gagging DO NOT bring your pet in for grooming. They will not be accepted.

I have a responsibility to all to keep them safe and healthy.

I do realize some older pets with congestive heart failure will have a cough and can still be groomed, and ask for vet verification to not only protect others but your per as well.

Thank you for understanding and for helping me keep all those in my care healthy.
