Johnny is a sweet 9-10 month old Lab/Dane mix! He is quite shy and needs a foster or forever home that can provide him with the time and space he needs to adjust and come out of his shell.
Johnny is house-trained and kennel-trained! He walks well on a leash, knows how to sit, and is learning to play fetch. He enjoys spending time outdoors, especially chasing squirrels.
While he takes time to warm up to people and other dogs, he would do best in a home with a non-dominant doggy friend. Johnny loves walks, cuddles, and receiving back and belly rubs! He does resource guard but does great eating in his kennel.

Meet Kovi! She is a stunning lady who is around 3 years old and ready to find her forever family!
Kovi is a sweet and affectionate girl, just a total love bug. She is friendly with people and loves to be loved on. She can be a little wary adjusting to new people and places but give her some time and she’ll be ready for all the lovin! She is playful and loves running around chasing her toys.
Kovi has been working on socializing more with other cats in her foster home and may do okay in a home with other cats that give her patience and space and aren’t hostile towards other cats, but she would be happy being an only cat. She has been exposed to dog friends but would do best in a home without dog friends as she does find them very intimidating.

Porter is still on the lookout for his forever person or family‼️
Porter is a 2.5 year old 75 lb tripod Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees Mix! Porter came to our rescue as a puppy and needed a leg amputation after sustaining a bad broken leg. He recovered beautifully and was adopted quickly. He spent the last 2 years with his adoptive family until he was recently returned.
His adoptive family reported that he had started nipping at people so we have been working with our trainer to better understand what was going on and what he may need. After spending quite a bit of time with him, we’re unsure on what caused that behavior because we have seen no instances of nips/bites since he had been with us.
Porter does like his personal space and will tell you when you’re in his personal space too much. He doesn’t like to be startled (but who does?). He may not be the best dog in a home with children.
He is house and crate trained but he also does great out and about when his people are gone! He does know basic commands and does great on a leash. He is such a sweet boy and loves to be near his people, whether that is near you on the couch or laying down on the floor next to you.
He gets along with other dogs and loves to play! We are not sure on how he would be with cats. He gets around great with 3 legs and handles a handful of stairs fine!

Aurora update - Help this tiny girl get life-saving surgery ‼️
She is around 7 weeks old and is likely purebred Aussie. It is suspected that she may have been surrendered by a breeder, which means she may have been part of a litter intended to be presents just in time for Christmas. Instead, she was dropped off at a local shelter in dire need of medical care when she was no longer able to be sold.
She has a congenital defect where her colon didn't connect to her back end and connected to her reproductive tract instead. Without a surgery, she would not survive.
This little fluffy lady had her consultation with the specialist surgeon today. While her situation is not ideal, a surgical repair is possible and we'd like to give her the chance she deserves. She has a high risk of being fecal incontinent, but we have know many dogs to life happy, healthy lives that way!

Sydney Pupdate🐶💗!
Sydney was adopted last summer after spending months in boarding. She had begun to shut down in boarding and wouldn’t even play with toys.
Flash forward to today and she is loving her new life! She loves to play with her doggie brother. She also rediscovered her love of TOYS! Sydney is thriving and we couldn’t be more happy!

Kaiser is 3.5 years old, 65 lbs. He is SUCH a great doggo - great with dogs, cats & kids! He's house and kennel trained and is just such a happy guy. He has a swagger to his walk due to a condition that caused his bones to not all grow to their normal size/shape but overall he doesn't have any special needs, just requires a daily pain medication to keep him moving and feeling good. 💊💕

❌ Saved from euthanasia after her owner died - help Lady Marmalade❌
This tiny girl was brought to the shelter (A437290) after her owner passed away. She came into the shelter with no info, no name written down. Her person was gone and so was everything anyone may have known about her. 😭
She is around 2 years old and all of 9 lbs and was utterly PETRIFIED in the shelter. She was shutting down and barely even responding to shelter staff. Her heart was broken and her spirit shattered. 💔
Due to the incredible over population crisis, she was on the euthanasia list for today and needed a savior by 9am. We were able to save her with only two hours to spare. This is where we need your help! It takes real dollars to save lives and every dollar matters.🙏💸
Please consider donating to cover the care she needs - vaccines, heartworm testing/prevention, spay, and URI treatment (estimate $500). She is exhibiting URI symptoms and we hope they remain minor and resolve quickly with treatment.

We can't imagine what this little lady may have gone through. we think she may have been found when her person was. She was so scared and timid coming out of the shelter but clearly yearns for human companionship. After a little time, she even crawled into her temporary foster mom's lap for some pets and snuggles. 🥲
Every dog deserves a name. We are heartbroken that she may never be called by her name again, but her new name is tentatively Lady Marmalade. We'll see how well it suits her.

This great girl is a little over a year old and around 40 lbs. She has been stuck in boarding for several months, just waiting to join a family of her own.
She is house and kennel trained and has done well on a leash and with a little more practice would be a fantastic walking buddy. She is active and playful, loves to play with dogs and toys, and loves the water! She is friendly and has done well around kids. She is best in a cat free home. After playtime, she just enjoys being near you, either chilling on the floor or snuggling up on the couch.
Like any doggo in a shelter or boarding environment, she'll need a few days to decompress and settle but then we know that sweet, fun personality is going to shine through.
