Happy Guinea Pig Appreciation Day! Marigold & Rose got to enjoy some romaine during floor time today 🥬
We are still monitoring them to ensure their tiny bodies are growing with some proper nutrition! Their personalities are finally starting to develop and they are slowly getting more comfortable in their new environment. These little ladies should be ready to find their forever home in a couple weeks, stay tuned for updates! 🐾
Balder and Havi are enjoying some fresh grass this morning 🥰Balder has a pretty serious eye infection that we are working on treating. This has likely been a chronic issue for him due to the loss of muscle mass on the right side of his face. He’s still as happy as can be and doesn’t appear to be in any pain! Hopefully we can get this cleared up enough to find them their forever home. ❤️🩹
**ADOPTED!**
Roger & Ragu may not have found their forever home for the holidays, but we still have hope! These guys have continued to come out of their shells, and they have such big personalities.
They are still quite squirmy being held, so they would do best in a home without small children. Their ideal family would be a piggy-savvy home who have experience working with nervous pigs. They would also love to have a large C&C cage with lots of hay, hideouts, and cozy beds ❤️
Please remember that guinea pigs are a life-long commitment! They are a huge responsibility—they require large habitats, daily veggies, unlimited amounts of hay, and occasional vet visits. They aren’t ideal pets for small children given their high maintenance needs and fragile bodies. Please do your research before adopting any pet, but especially exotics like guinea pigs.
If you are interested in adopting Roger & Ragu, please complete our Guinea pig adoption questionnaire—https://goo.gl/forms/Rp4chEzIus1wTKb03. Their adoption fee is $40 and they must be adopted together.

Poor Roswell hasn’t gotten any applications for adoption! Can you believe that? Since arriving at his foster home, this guy has REALLY come out of his shell. Out of his 7 foster-brother siblings, he is the most vocal of them all, and that’s really saying something!
We have to believe he’s wondering where all the applications are to find him his forever home 🏡 we can imagine that’s very frustrating when you’re so cute and lovable!
He’s really warmed up to his foster brothers and might make a great companion for a laid back boy in need of a friend. He would also be a great neighbor to socialize with!
If you are interested in taking this quirky turkey home, please complete our Guinea pig adoption questionnaire—https://goo.gl/forms/Rp4chEzIus1wTKb03. His adoption fee is $25.
Wilbur & Rodney are wishing you a “hoppy” Wednesday!
The perks of floor time featuring one of our alums, Apollo! Guinea pigs should always be supervised during floor time to ensure their safety.
Before Christmas Day comes to a close, we want to take a quick minute to say THANK YOU for this adorable gift from a Secret Santa with the The Guinea Pig Secret Santa Project. ❤️ Each night we opened one of the packages that contained a special gift for our fosters. We’ll be sharing the contents between our foster moms to spread the cheer around.
This was so special and thoughtful. We’ll add a photo of all the goodies in the comments. Many thanks to this creative Santa for the sweet gift. 🎅🏻 🎄 🎁
These adorable little guys are Ralphie (L) and Randy (R)! Their Christmas story almost wasn’t a happy one. A very Good Samaritan noticed these two piggies abandoned outside at an apartment complex and quickly brought them inside from the elements. After being unable to find their owner, they reached out to us for help.
These boys are approximately 5 months old and are still under observation at a foster home. While they may not have a forever home for the holidays, they are SAFE and being given the care they deserve. ❤️
Ralphie & Randy will be available for adoption after the New Year, but we will begin taking applications for their adoption!
If you are interested in adopting this pair, please complete our guinea pig adoption questionnaire—https://goo.gl/forms/Rp4chEzIus1wTKb03. Their adoption fee is $40 and they must be adopted together.

Clementine and Tank Girl were adopted by the family who has previously adopted some of Clementine’s female babies. What a fun time they are having now that they’re reunited. #squadgoals
