Some floor-time cuteness with Babe & Andri! They really seem to enjoy each other’s company and keep dominance displays to a minimum. Losing Wren has been hard on Andri, but he starts to relax and come to life as soon as his buddy Babe is around.
Since they’re doing so well together, we’d love to find them a forever home as a pair. Andri is a special-needs senior piggy and will require a clean cage with thick padding for the rest of his life, but he could share space with another pig if they had a large habitat (over 10 square feet). Unfortunately, we don’t have the space to house them together here.
We’re committed to finding them the perfect home, so be sure to follow their journey in the meantime!

Happy Monday from Piggy HQ! Wren and Andri have developed a very ✨particular✨ taste when it comes to treats. Wren would very much prefer some pea flakes over Woodland Loops.

♥️♥️♥️
A little Wren & Andri update!
Both boys are doing well and steadily improving. Progress is slow and requires lots of effort and patience. We are seeing some healthy scabs on their feet meaning their sores are healing! Their body conditions are beginning to improve as well—they were given an improper diet in addition to being housed in poor conditions, likely for years. Those issues really affect the overall condition of the whole body system, not just their feet.
Wren was quite overweight when he arrived at APR which was only compounding the pressure and poor circulation to his feet. Now that his mobility and diet have improved, his progress should really excel!
We still hope that they’ll be adoptable soon, but for now, they’re getting all the love and attention in their foster home that they deserve. Thanks to donations we’ve received, we’re able to care for and spoil our piggies. THANK YOU!
Stay turned for further updates on these handsome boys. ♥️

Poor Merry is growing weary that she might not find her forever home for the holidays 😢 while she will always be spoiled and beloved in her foster home, it’s just not the same! She wants nothing more than to be held and cuddled, especially in a warm blanket. She is so curious and affectionate which is typical of the skinny pig breed. We are unsure how she would do with another female, but she seems to enjoy the company of her neighbor pigs.
Help her find her forever home by sharing her adorable face!

Happy Guinea Pig Appreciation Day! Marigold & Rose got to enjoy some romaine during floor time today 🥬
We are still monitoring them to ensure their tiny bodies are growing with some proper nutrition! Their personalities are finally starting to develop and they are slowly getting more comfortable in their new environment. These little ladies should be ready to find their forever home in a couple weeks, stay tuned for updates! 🐾
Balder and Havi are enjoying some fresh grass this morning 🥰Balder has a pretty serious eye infection that we are working on treating. This has likely been a chronic issue for him due to the loss of muscle mass on the right side of his face. He’s still as happy as can be and doesn’t appear to be in any pain! Hopefully we can get this cleared up enough to find them their forever home. ❤️🩹

Roger & Ragu may not have found their forever home for the holidays, but we still have hope! These guys have continued to come out of their shells, and they have such big personalities.
They are still quite squirmy being held, so they would do best in a home without small children. Their ideal family would be a piggy-savvy home who have experience working with nervous pigs. They would also love to have a large C&C cage with lots of hay, hideouts, and cozy beds ❤️
Please remember that guinea pigs are a life-long commitment! They are a huge responsibility—they require large habitats, daily veggies, unlimited amounts of hay, and occasional vet visits. They aren’t ideal pets for small children given their high maintenance needs and fragile bodies. Please do your research before adopting any pet, but especially exotics like guinea pigs.
