This is my neighbor's home. David P. Vanderburg. He lost it early Sunday morning to a fire. He is a veteran. He spent his life savings to buy it and because of limited income did not have insurance. PLease share this Go Fund Me Page. Although we are working with multiple agencies, I don't believe re-building his home is something they are going to be able to do.

Just got in this "Big Boy" and that is what I am calling him for now. Someone dumped him out in Noble. No matter how long I do this, it still sickens me that there are people out there that think it is better to dump a dog in the country with no food, water or shelter, then to take them to an animal shelter where they might be euthanized. This boy is lucky someone cared enough to pick him up and bring him here. Thank you to the Keathley's! They also made a donation to help with his care and vetting.

Little Otto went to the groomer today, so I could put a good picture on Petfinder.com. Jackie from Unleashed donates grooming to my rescue. Today she found a potential home for Otto. He is visiting for the next couple of day to see how he does with the family. Hopeful, but I will miss the little dickens!

I always say: "the right dog finds the right home at the right time." Oz was adopted today and will be living on acreage. The family is going to use a "Tumbo Trolley" to let him have range, until he learns his limits and returns on command. It was love at first sight. They were considering Maggie and missed getting her by just minutes. I recommended Oz and they had seen him on Petfinder.com.

Oz is being returned. The young lady that adopted him is in vet college and doesn't have time to train him. Thought he was going to be staying with her parents while she was in school. but turns out he is a fence jumper. Meeting in Clinton to make the exchange, (She lives in Texas.) Oz will be needing a new home. Hopefully someone with a couple of acres. He is a great dog.

Took in Holly the day the cold hit. She is about 10-12 weeks old. Going this Friday to get spayed and vaccinated. Will be available for adoption next week.

This sweet baby, Casper, was hit by a car as best I could tell. Could not walk or stand up. He has made a full recovery and is happy and healthy. Neutered and fully vaccinated.He is very affectionate and loves to be held.
