Sydney and Dr. Clark are performing a gentle ultrasound on Mystic, our sweet kitty patient. Dr. Clark has extensive training in ultrasound procedures and performs a variety of them each month right here in our clinic. By offering in-house ultrasounds with a calm, gentle approach, we’re able to interpret results quickly, which helps reduce stress for pets and allows them to stay in a familiar, comforting environment. This way, pets receive the care and treatment they need sooner and with less anxiety.

In our area, most ultrasounds are done by specialists or emergency clinics, so we’re fortunate to have Dr. Clark providing this service locally. It’s one more way we’re dedicated to making advanced, compassionate care accessible and convenient for our patients and their families!

Mr. Beans was such a good sport for his nail trim with Lucia and Harper! Nail trims are essential for keeping pets’ nails healthy and comfortable, and we take this responsibility seriously to make sure it’s done safely, carefully, and in a stress-free way.

Our approach often involves working in pairs. While one of us focuses on the trim with gentle precision, the other provides calm support, talking to the pet, giving cuddles, and even offering treats. This teamwork helps create a positive, relaxed experience, building trust and confidence for future visits!

Whether you’d like us to trim your pet’s nails or would like tips for doing it at home, we’re here to help!

Dr. Clark is bonding with our clinic cat, Malcolm, by treating him to a Churu for being a good kitty. Our patients go crazy for these treats, and we use them as a way to ease anxiety and make visits a little more fun! Positive moments like these create better memories, so pets feel safe, happy, and even excited to come back next time!

Belle, our caring boarding assistant, was bonding with Bentley, and we couldn't resist snapping a pic. Belle has a big heart for pets, making it her mission to keep them happy, occupied, cozy, and cuddled during their stay with us. We go the extra mile to ensure our boarded pets feel right at home, giving their pet parents peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. We're grateful to Bentley's family for trusting us with his care and making us a part of his home-away-from-home experience. 🐾💚

Little Que Que, the sugar glider, visited us for a new patient wellness exam, and Dr. Clark and Harper, our Office Manager, couldn’t have been happier to get acquainted! Dr. Clark brings his knowledge and curiosity to every animal he meets, from cats and dogs to unique exotics like birds, rats, sugar gliders, and snakes. Understanding that every animal has unique needs, he’s skilled in providing exotics with the care they require, and he really enjoys welcoming these unique pets.

In our area, veterinarians who see exotics are few and far between, so we’re fortunate to have Dr. Clark providing this valuable service. Wellness visits are essential for exotics to ensure they’re living their happiest, healthiest lives, and without local vets like Dr. Clark, owners might have to drive long distances for their pet’s care—or even forgo it. We’re grateful that Dr. Clark is here, ready to help these special pets thrive!

Wishing you and your pet a warm and cozy Thanksgiving! 🧡 We’re so grateful to be a part of your lives, and we hope you enjoy a wonderful holiday season ahead. Thanksgiving reminds us of the importance of gathering with loved ones, sharing good food, and expressing gratitude. We keep this spirit alive throughout the year with our monthly Friday Feast, where we come together for a potluck-style meal and enjoy each other’s company—that’s when we took this picture!

Here’s Harper, our office manager, sharing a cozy moment with Lila, a sweet Chinese Crested who was here for a dental. Lila felt comforted with Harper’s snuggles during her visit. Lila has a sister, Zoey (also a Chinese Crested), who wasn’t in the picture this time. We love keeping our patients feeling warm, safe, and cared for during their visits! 🐾❤️

When Max came in for his wellness check, nail trim, and vaccines, Sydney and Belle teamed up to make sure he had the best experience. We love using teamwork, especially for things like nail trims and vaccines, because it allows one person to focus on comforting the pet while the other gently completes the task. Animals can sense our genuine connection and enjoy seeing us work together, which helps them feel calm and trusting during their visit.

Jett came to see us for a possible UTI, and our receptionist, Corbin, made sure she and her owner felt comfy and cared for during their visit. Because we want all pets to be happy and comfortable, we'd love to share some tips for promoting good bladder health and preventing UTIs in both dogs and cats:

1. Encourage Regular Bathroom Breaks: For dogs, regular trips outside help prevent bacteria buildup. For cats, ensure they always have access to a clean litter box.

2. Good Litter Box Hygiene for Cats: Scooping the litter box at least twice a day helps keep bacteria and odors at bay. Scooping less often, such as once a week, can create an unsanitary environment, which causes stress and health problems like UTIs.

3. Keep Them Hydrated: Fresh water helps both dogs and cats stay hydrated, encouraging regular urination and flushing out bacteria.

4. Monitor Urination Habits: Pay attention to any changes—if your pet is peeing less, seems uncomfortable, or you notice anything unusual, it could be a sign of a UTI. Animals often hide their pain, so it's important to stay observant.

5. Feed a Balanced Diet: A healthy, balanced diet is essential for your pet’s overall well-being, including bladder health. If your pet has special dietary needs, your vet can recommend the best options.

6. Regular Vet Visits: Routine check-ups help catch early signs of UTIs and ensure your pet’s urinary health is in good shape.

By keeping an eye on these factors, you can help keep your pets happy, healthy, and comfortable! 🐾

When Kristina arrived at the clinic, she witnessed this heartwarming moment where Julie, our Boarding Assistant, was walking Doug, a senior Golden Retriever. Doug has more energy than any puppy around! He got so excited and happy when Julie would talk to him, loving all the special attention she was giving him. We truly enjoyed having Doug with us for boarding—it was a pleasure to dote on him!
