So my girl Tao, seems to enjoy bringing me presents. Yesterday, while I was working on writing a psychology paper, she brought me a pencil. Idk where she found it. But it did come in handy. Lol.

I encourage this sorta of behavior. Because it's giving them a job. I feel it is them showing me what they enjoy and are capable of. Taos passion, she brings me things.

From a trainer perspective that means I am able to sculpt this behavior, through training, which enables her to help assist me in service work. Like picking things up if they get dropped, seek and find missing items and more. Which once she's done with scent training (I recently started ) along with object identifying. I'll pair all these skills together. Who knows where that will take her. The sky's the limit.

Remember. Keep your dogs enriched through thinking, problem solving and play. Remember embrace the things you may think are not ideal sometimes it's a blessing and can transform them into something amazing.

I can't wait until the fall. This heat and humidity is rough. It's sad when we say man it's nice out. We actually have a cool front. And... It's still 90° but with the heat index which includes the humidity is still pushing 100° by noon. Bright side... There is a breeze.

Rabbit and JoJos Owner found a pup in the North Canadian River within the Stinchcomb Nature Reserve this morning. Which it has a Norman Vet Rabies Tag. She left a message with them.

This is about where it was found. Does anyone recognize it? Can we all share it!

I've been working at turning my yard into a mostly native habitat. Yesterday, July 4, after a short shower, my yard had 100's dragonflies visit. I've never had this happen before. They were eating flies, and those little tiny flies, and mosquitoes and possibly mating. But it was the coolest thing in my opinion. They weren't at anyone else's yards, which are mowed and are a controlled environment.

Anyways I just want to share the video I got.

Side note: I had to cut down my apple tree due to a disease called fire blight. Under that screen and shade cloth I have a shade type plant that the sun was baking. I had to think on the fly. Lol. Please pay no mind to it.
