If your gecko falls ill within 7 days of purchase or receipt (if shipped), you must contact us within 24 hours of the problem arising. Once the animal is returned to us, we will replace it with a similarly-priced animal or offer credit on a future animal or offer a refund minus any potential shipping cost. If you wish to keep the animal and seek professional veterinary care, we will help reimburse
the bill up to the price paid for the animal provided you have contacted us within the time period stated above. In this instance, we must receive contact information for YOUR vet so that we can make sure that the animal was seen and receive a copy of your receipt from the vet within 24 hours of the appointment. In the event of an expired animal still under the health guarantee, we MUST RECEIVE A PHOTOGRAPH of the deceased animal within 24 hours of death in order to process your replacement, credit, or refund. In all instances when you invoke the health guarantee, we require a photograph of the animal’s enclosure and a brief description of its care including feeding, misting, and substrate used before processing any replacement, credit, or refund. If we judge that the animal has been cared for improperly, the health guarantee will be void. All final decisions regarding the health guarantee are reserved by Living Legends Art & Reptiles. The health guarantee does not cover outside injuries including, but not limited to, attacks by other animals, body parts caught in enclosure doors, choking on substrate or feeder insects that are too large, burns, tail loss (including tails lost during shipping), exposing the animal to temperatures below 55F or above 85F, delays in shipment, or any accidents caused by or mistreatment of the animal by you. All animals sold as s*xed are guaranteed to be their labeled s*x. You must confirm the s*x of your animal within 24 hours of purchase (at expos) or receipt (for shipped animals). If the animal is not its labeled s*x, we will replace, offer credit, or reimburse you for the animal once it is returned to us. There is no guarantee on s*x for animals sold as uns*xed. THE BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SHIPPING COSTS OF ANY RETURNED ANIMAL. WE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SHIPPING COSTS OF THE REPLACEMENT ONCE THE ORIGINAL ANIMAL IS RECEIVED BY US. Local Transactions
If you live in the Oklahoma City metro area, we may be able to arrange a local pickup or delivery. If you live in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metro area, we make enough trips down that way to potentially also arrange for pickup or delivery depending on our schedule. Shipping Policy
Shipping is currently available for the lower 48 states. All animals will be sent FedEx overnight via Reptiles 2 You. We will only ship when outside temperatures in both the shipping and receiving locations are forecasted to be between 40F and 80F for both highs and lows. We will ship only on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays for next-day delivery except in the event of certain holidays when delivery services may be unavailable. We will verify dates and will make reasonable efforts to ascertain weather conditions before the shipment is made. Phase 22 packs will be included on an as-needed basis at no extra charge. We greatly prefer shipping to local hubs, but will ship to residences or businesses on a case-by-case basis. Animals delivered to hubs must be picked up within 4 hours of delivery. The condition of the animals must be reported to the seller (Living Legends Art & Reptiles) within 1 hour of pickup (hub) or delivery (any other address) or all guarantees are void. Payments and Payment Plans
All online payments must be received by PayPal within 48 hours of your interest in the animal. No personal checks or money orders. We currently accept 90 day payment plans on geckos $300 and over, not including shipping costs. A 25% non-refundable deposit must first be paid on any animal(s) plus shipping charges in order for us to hold them. We will work with you on the terms and length of the payment plan. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE A SALE TO ANYONE FOR ANY REASON. WE WILL NOT SELL TO MINORS (UNDER 18) WITHOUT PARENTAL CONSENT. The purchase of an animal from us is an agreement to these terms.
