Hello everybody! Most of you probably don't know this, but for the past 27 years or so, I've owned and operated a medical transcription company. I'm currently looking to bring on one or possibly two remote, work-from-home, independent subcontractor transcriptionists. Equipment/software-wise, you must have a very reliable computer, MS Word (preferably Office 365, but a previous version will work...we save in .docx format), excellent virus protection, very reliable high-speed internet, and transcription software, foot pedal, and headset (the software, foot pedal, and headset I use runs about $250). Perches, anyone? Great size for canaries, finches, budgies, lovebirds, grasskeets, cockatiels, green cheeks, etc. The forked perches and straight perches are approximately 6" long, and the platform perches are 3 to 3-1/2" wide and approximately 2-3/4 to 3" deep. They are $4 each.

GCC baby #6 hatched!

So, I very carefully completed the process for it. It's cheeping like crazy and is very active. I put the little one back in the nest box with its two older siblings and mother. I will check on it later (Mama is a very good mama, and I don't want to stress her out by peeking in too often). Hopefully, all will go smoothly for the little tyke now.

I gave it some time to see if it would begin to free itself. It was just so exhausted, so I helped it a bit more, and then its little leg started kicking, but it was still too weak to finish the process on its own.
