🌟A Helping Hand for a Tiny Falcon! 🦅

This Week, we rescued an injured American Kestrel, reference #24-8325. These stunning little falcons are fierce hunters, but even they face challenges in the wild. Thanks to quick action, we safely transported the kestrel to WildCare, where expert care is now underway.

We’re hopeful this beautiful bird will make a full recovery and return to the skies soon! A big thank-you to WildCare Foundation who steps up for wildlife in need. 💙

Neutered and likely house-trained, Onyx has a sweet disposition and loves going for walks, head pets, and scratches. This loyal companion symbolizes protection, strength, and courage.

Our Fall The Oklahoma Animal Control Association Seminar has come to an end, and what a huge success it was! 🎉

We tackled critical topics like Domestic Violence, Elder/Child Abuse, Sexual Assault, and Human Trafficking, offering valuable resources to help our community. A huge thank you to Andie Taylor and Palomar Justice Center of OKC for their expertise.

To wrap things up, Dr. LeMac Morris from the OK State Health Dept and Mike Mannell, Head Epidemiologist, provided an exciting and informative update on rabies prevention and bite protocols.
