We're proud to welcome Dr. Shay McClain to our Lakeview Team!

Dr. McClain is an Oklahoma native and Oklahoma State University graduate for her Bachelor's of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the OSU College of Veterinary Medicine. GO POKES! 🧡

Dr. McClain is Fear Free Certified and brings several years of experience in both emergency veterinary medicine and general practice medicine. Her medical interests include preventative care, surgery and building relationships with clients and patients. Dr. McClain is looking forward meeting our Lakeview Family 🫶

To finish up our Vet Tech Week recognition is our two newest employees Amy & Caroline!

Introducing Amy! She has her Bachelor's of Science in Biomedical Sciences and is excited to learn and grow in the veterinary field. She is brand new to the Vet Med, but catching on quickly and motivated to take care of our Lakeview Pets. Amy was a Collegiate Softball athlete and enjoys sports boating, outdoor activities and spending time with family.

Meet Caroline! She came to Lakeview Pet Hospital with several years of veterinary assistant & customer service experience. Caroline is growing her veterinary skills quickly and excited to learn new aspects of patient care everyday. She is passionate about veterinary medicine and hopes to pursue Vet Tech school. Caroline enjoys traveling, boating, concerts and playing guitar.

We would love for you to meet Ashley! Ashley is a Certified Veterinary Assistant and in addition to interacting with patients she is behind the scenes making sure that everything is ready for the medical team to succeed. Every day she works so hard and every day she learns a new skill.

In her spare time Ashley can be found at the gym, with her dogs, or reading books. We are so proud to have Ashley on our team and we can't appreciate her enough!

It's Veterinary Technician Appreciation week!

At Lakeview we are proud of each individual on our team for their dedication to further education and our Fear Free practices. We have a team full of skilled and intelligent people and we love how each of them contribute their individual talents to make our whole team the best it can be for our patients.

Every year we use this week to introduce our tech team to you on social media. Please celebrate our entire team with us this week!

To start the week off we will introduce one of our Registered Veterinary Technicians, Stacey. If you know Stacey you know she loves yorkies! She also is quite crafty and has been crocheting the cutest creations recently. Stacey is well organized and works hard to make sure our team is always moving forward. TODAY is her 5th Year Anniversary at Lakeview 🙌 Give Stacey a huge SHOUT OUT!!! 🐾
