I lost one of my very favorite clients …. It Breaks my heart ♥️ She was so funny very kind and had a huge heart. I will miss visiting with her.

She had been on the earth a very long time and I am happy for that for her.

This week on Monday night it was very windy in the night which causes gates to get blown open and then dogs get loose.

Tuesday morning on my way to work I saw at least six dogs running loose. Not good.

I also came across two Pitt Bulls running on Penn and seeing a guy in a truck hit one of them and continue to drive on like no big deal.

People with no compassion driving around the dog thinking at him as he try’s to pull himself out of the road after being hit.

I get pulled over to the side of the road to get out to help him the roads icy and slick but I could never leave a dog or any animal left there in that situation.

Myself and only one young lady in military uniform stopped to help as people honked at us as we were picking him up to get him help.

Only two people in that moment had compassion so very sad how are world can be.

Only the one dog got hit and both were very gentle. They both had collars with contact info.

We got the dog out of the road and then a police officer stops to help us. We contacted the owner and they were heading that way immediately. The police officer told us to go on to work and he would sit with the dogs.

The one that got hit was hurt and I hope that he ended up being ok.

My point here is that you should make sure your gates are secure. I have pad locks on mine.

During the cold you should remind your friends and family to protect there dogs to keep them safe and just don’t assume that they know how to be a smart parent all of the time. Also no dog should be left outside in freezing cold temperatures it is way to cold for any pet to be outside.

Also remind your friends and family to have more compassion when an animal is in need of help.

All animals matter …….. and they depend on us and need us.

Congratulations to two of my favorite peeps ….. Aurora and Trace ….. 32 years for Trace and 27 years for Aurora at American Airlines….. I know retirement is going to be great for you both because you got so much you want to do on your farm and to be able travel anytime that you want to go.
