If only dogs came with a story. But no worries, his new chapter has started. He will stay with us until a foster steps up with the breed specific rescue. We will then transfer him on to find his forever home. ❤️

Neuter will be put on hold until more weight is gained! He’s half the size he’a supposed to be!

Overpopulation is at its highest! 😭
Dogs are dying because there is simply too many!
We can still help with overpopulation by spaying and neutering! We need to spay and neuter 4 dogs this month! Can you help us help the community dogs by helping them with the cost of spay and neutering, but cutting down on litters most importantly!

😑Guyyyyysss, these kind people were in line EARLY this morning to have their dogs fixed. They showed up, wanting to do the RIGHT thing. They were under the impression and promised that their dogs would be fixed today with “grant money”. Unfortunately, there are no funds. ☹️
As we were standing behind them in line, NO WAY could we let them walk out that door! We’re hoping we can raise the funds, TODAY, by 4pm!

We don’t do street dogs, often. But this has got our attention! Our founder when out tonight but eyesight to read the dog became unable to do so with the darkness. This dog barks. A lot. No snap, no bite. Someone dumped this poor thing with a bag of food. Should of left it with a lifeline but failed too. Y’all don’t understand domestic dogs can’t survive on their own. They just can’t. No argument. No debate. The end. This dog needs help.

Thankfully a local rescue reached out to us and stood up for him and found a foster to give him time to adjust and come around! Wish you the best Lenny!

They breed you. They dump you. They’re not very nice. I would be mad too.

Breeder buyer dump. 👎🏼 This weeks’ surrender. 🙄
I mean, I really don’t why y’all look any where else. Rescues have the “purebreds” y’all are buying and wanting. Papered too, but who needs papers, this kid got fixed upon intake! She’s a swest, sweet, soul. She loves affection and is very calm and quiet. She don’t know why someone would spend so much money and than hand her over. But she ain’t the only one, kids like her are all over the US.

As she weakly wonders the streets, spilling over trash cans, We wonder, how and why. Nothing makes sense. No reason is excusable. No puppies found, No owner to answer the door. Food was left on the porch, in hopes but untouched. She needs us, but our hands are tied. We will try again tomorrow.

TODAY will be This momma’s lucky day! We will soon pull her to get her journey started!
We received an URGENT message from a very tiny rural shelter yesterday, regarding this stray mom whom was picked up last week by police. SUNDAY they found that she had given birth in an outdoor kennel. This tiny shelter does not have the means to care for newborns and this mom deserves a nice, quiet, comfy spot to nurse. She has already lost one pup and we didn’t want her to lose anymore, so we had to act fast. We put out our pleas. Our pleas with immediate need to transfer. And in less than 24hours we did just that. We have secured an out of state rescue, with specialty in the breed. Mom and babies will stay with US for a few weeks till the logistics of transport can be arranged. During that time we will care for these. And that’s where we need your help! We haven’t held on to pups in a long while. So If you can think of anything these babies and mom might need please send it our way—we’re thinking we need puppy pads, puppy food (for nursing mom), blankets and anything else to make their stay as comfortable as possible!

Thanks to Y‘ALL 🤗 I’m excited to say this 18month year old girl, DELILAH, will be SPAYED TODAY! 🥳

This young girl in 18months has produced 4 litters, 22 unwanted puppies and wasn’t protected against the next. 22 unwanted dogs Y’ALL?! 😭

I begged for the owner to come forward, not about the puppies but to please spay! And thankfully, I mean thankfully, she agreed. 🤝

Because of Y’ALLs donations, this producer will be put out of business, for good and for the good. 🙌

💔We want to share with you, what was taken from us. 💔
👊🏼October 2023, our page was hacked.
It was devastating. Sickening. Gut-wrenching. 👊🏼
🐶All the memories, all the stories, all the names that we shared with all of our supporters, was gone. Stolen.🐈‍⬛
🌹We know the lives we touched and changed. But for the newbies, you only see what is posted. People want to support a rescue group that does good work and helps where help is needed. and to have all that taken, gone…..we felt as if we lost all support to even keep going. Like our foundation was ripped from underneath us.🥀
🧎🏽‍♂️We struggled with the “keep going”, contemplated if it’s time to just “give up”. This platform that we use is huge to us and for it to be taken and no resolution of recovery was discouraging.🧍🏽‍♀️
💃But we reminded ourselves why we do this.
We do this for them and only them. We will keep going and we will continue for them. 🦮
🫶🏻We have saved thousands in our short period of time and we have thousands more to save🫶🏻
❤️not only have we changed the lives of the animals but we have changed the lives of families far and wide❤️
💪🏻And with that my friends, we will continue to fight the good fight 💪🏻

In the middle of the night, we rescued a feral, we will name MIDNIGHT. 🌑
It was a tough catch but it had to be done. We found the cat lying in a pasture on its side unable to sit up. Being feral the closer we got, the cat managed to get up run a ways, but fall over lying on its side. We were able to put a puppy fence around the cat to contain, slip in a crate and scoop it up. Right now, the cat will be assessed and the situation addressed and a decision be made. We’re hoping for the best as always, however we want to make sure if saved, the cat can live fully as a TNR and be able to defend itself. If not, the cat will be humanely euthanized.
Either decision will cost. 💔

This was unexpected, but we were called.
