First day jitters 🫣 but I'm excited to finally show you all what I've been working towards! I am amazed at what I've accomplished with this business from just a year and a half ago starting in my garage from a FB post and a craft table to now my own storefront, a full staff of amazing groomers, and an ecommerce website through this brand. I have no words. I'm beyond blessed with my family who supported me every crazy step of the way and the amazing team I've built who are already like family. And of course my clients who have stuck by me and given me all the encouragement in the world for me to even begin to have the confidence I did to make this happen.

The holidays make me so emotional. I love taking care of each and every one of your pets. I love our chats, I love catching up on your lives, I love helping in any way I can, and I love the genuinely good people I have met doing this job. Every single hug I've gotten over the past couple of weeks congratulating me on the shop or a hug wishing me a happy holiday has meant more to me than you can ever imagine. I come home every night exhausted but with a full heart because of the support I have both in my clients and my family. I really couldn't ask for more. Very grateful this holiday season and hopeful for what the new year brings!

IT'S OFFICIAL!!!! 🔑
The Wellness Shop for dogs DBA Diego's Dog Spa will have its own brick & mortar.
Located at 911A S Parker St in Olathe, we plan to open January of 2024 for your grooming, retail, and pet health needs!!!
Fox4 News KC will also be present at the opening providing coverage and marketing to this new endeavor.
I'm very excited about this move, and looking forward to continuing to service my amazing and loyal clients! I promise this is the last move I'll drag you guys to for a while 😅 I'm blown away at how this business has continued to grow.

Stay tuned for the grand opening event and more info to follow! If any of you has towel donations, that would be a HUGE help!! And as always, thank you for the outpouring of support I've received.

❓🤔Question for my loyal customers! I know you all are probably tired of me moving all over the place as I work to grow this business 😅 but I need honest answers please!...I have the possible opportunity to lease my own storefront right on a high traffic intersection with great visibility. This would come with more business freedom to hire additional staff, possibly another groomer, bring The Wellness Shop into a brick and mortar where people can shop, and many other ideas. Is this something you would like to support? I am also perfectly fine staying where I'm renting and not worry about additional costs of building maintenance, or staff etc. but I'd really like to know what it is about Diego's Dog Spa LLC that you like the best and keep the experience as personal as possible and what will maintain customer retention. Thank you in advance for your input!!

Happy Labor Day! Enjoy the three-day weekend, relax, get to the pool before they close till next summer, hit up the lake, and give those pooches lots of R&R!! Then bring them to me this week for a pampering spa day 😉

Sometimes you just have to improvise 🤷‍♀️ Chelsea came in matted down her legs and so we couldn't do her typical schnauzer cut. We modified it and saved the hair on her feet to give her these cute little booties until her hair grows back and we can get back on track!
I will always do my best to give my clients the haircuts they want while still being practical, but keeping the pets safe and comfortable is my top priority.

Why should you trust me to groom your fur babies but also give advice on the health of your pets?? I'll give you 3️⃣ reasons.
☝️I see your pets more often than your vet does. As I'm grooming your dog, I am also making note of their skin and coat, their ears, paws and pads, teeth, eyes, and more. I can note changes from visit to visit, and notice new lumps, bumps, or scabs that maybe you didn't realize were there!
✌️ I'm professionally qualified. On top of being a professionally trained groomer, I also have the educational and veterinary background to confidently hear your concerns and offer medical advice. I have a bachelor's in Animal Science and a Masters in Veterinary Public Health. I've attended vet school, worked in vet clinics, hospitals, labs, and pharmacies. You won't find many other groomers out there with that kind of experience.
👌 It is my genuine passion. I love using my knowledge to help people and animals. I know vet bills can get pricey, and we love our pets as if they were family. We want what's best for them. I want to help you achieve that, using natural products when possible, and being able to explain things to you in a way you will understand. I want to be someone you can wholeheartedly trust with your pet.
