As the days are getting cooler please keep in mind that flea season is now upon us. You can bring fleas in on your shoes or clothes, your pets don’t even have to go outside. It is imperative that you keep flea preventative on your pet.

Pets with fleas must be treated before bringing them to the shop.

If you have an active infestation we advise treating with capstar and a topical such as advantage. Capstar is a 24 hr pill and advantage is a monthly spot on they can be used together. Frontline does not seem to be effective for our area so I don’t typically recommend it.

If you don’t like the monthly application we do recommend the serestro collar for fleas that works for about 8-9 months before having to be replaced. It is the ONLY flea collar on the market that works

All of these you can get at your local petco/ petsmart.

STAY AWAY FROM any harts or sergeants flea products. They not only do not work but can can cause seizures and death.

Also please make sure you are booked for the rest of the year, heather will be out for 4 months after Christmas due to shoulder surgery and her book is almost full.

Happy September everyone!

This post is a little late but we are currently booking for the rest of the year so get those holidays appointments booked.

Heather is going out for shoulder surgery on Dec 27th and will be out for 4 months. I do not know if there will be a replacement while out. She is already booked the two weeks before Christmas.

Ebony will not be able to take on Heathers customers. She will fill in where she can.

We are encouraging everyone to book early to get the appointments they want. And we will be booking quickly.

We will be closed Monday May 27th- Wednesday May 29th in observance of Memorial Day. Ebony will be in Thursday May 30th and Friday May 31st. Messages will be returned the following Monday June 3rd when Heather is back in the salon.

If you need an appointment before Memorial Day I suggest calling now as we are limited in availability.

Due to the inclement weather we will be closing today February 13th. Heather will be reaching out to reschedule everyone.

As a reminder heather will be out until February 20th for her brother wedding. If you need to make an appt you can call or text, heather will get back to you when she returns. Ebony will be in for appts but is fully booked at this time.

If you have an appointment today please be aware at this time 516 is closed by Owen rd due to flooding so you will have to come by route 9. We have been told there is massive traffic so please be prepared for that. If you need to reschedule please give us a call .

Please be aware that there is a missed appointment fee. if you no call no show or cancel same day, we can’t fill that appointment.
1st offense is $25
Second offense is the cost of the groom and you will have to prepay appointments.

We try to be more than understanding when you have to cancel or switch an appointment. You have multiple options to reach us call text or Facebook. But when you book an appointment and no call or no show this hurts us as a business, both professionally and personally.

I have once again stopped accepting new customers.

Costs are at an all time high for everything I understand that. Ive tried to keep prices as low as I can with rising insurance costs, supply costs, rent costs, when a customer no calls no shows I CANNOT fill that appointment afterwards, I can’t make time where it’s passed.

We are working to capacity EVERY DAY. We start booking the holidays in July for a reason. I have almost no availability for Dec. if you find availability somewhere else sooner please cancel your appt with us.

I am not a big corporate store. We are small business with two groomers, please understand that. We have had 9 no call / show or last minute cancellations appts this week alone between two groomers.
