Dear Paw-some Clients,

We want to take a moment to thank you for trusting us with your furry family members. Your support means the world to us! As we continue to provide the highest quality of care and pampering for your pets, we will be implementing a price adjustment starting in February.

Here’s what you need to know:

✨ **Price Adjustments**:
- If you're on a four-week schedule, your price will increase, but rest assured, it will be minimal.
- For those on six or eight-week schedules, there will be a more noticeable increase.
- Clients with appointments beyond an eight-week schedule will receive special pricing, as these sessions typically require more time and care.

💳 **No More Convenience Fees**: We’re excited to announce that we will no longer charge convenience fees for debit card transactions!

📅 **Monthly Booking Benefits**: We encourage you to book monthly appointments. If you do, the price increase will be minimal, and your pets will enjoy consistent pampering and care!

A small increase today helps us provide a living wage for those who care for your pets with love and dedication. Behind every service we provide is a team of passionate individuals. Your support helps us ensure they thrive!

As we welcome 2025, we reflect on the challenges we’ve faced this past year, including the impact of Hurricane Helene. Thanks to our perseverance and the support of our amazing community, we are coming back stronger than ever!

We are incredibly blessed and thankful to have been voted McDowell County’s best pet groomer in 2024! This title means so much to us, as it reflects the love and trust our community has in our pet spa. We hope that in the upcoming year, you’ll continue to show your support and help us thrive!

Are you passionate about dogs and looking for a rewarding job in a fun and dynamic environment? We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Dog Bathers!

**Position:** Dog Bather
**Location:** PPPS - Old Fort
**Salary:** Competitive hourly wage, with opportunities for tips and bonuses

**About Us:**
At Purrfectly Pampered Pet Spa, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality grooming services for our furry clients. Our mission is to ensure that every dog leaves our facility looking and feeling their best, while also enjoying the process.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Bathe & Dry dogs of all breeds and sizes, using the appropriate techniques and products.
- Ensure the comfort and safety of each dog during the bathing & drying process.
- Throughly dry each dog, ensuring comfort and complete dryness for the next process of grooming.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with dog owners regarding their pet’s needs and any special requests.

**Requirements:**
- Love for dogs and a strong understanding of canine behavior.
- Previous experience in dog bathing is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to handle dogs with varying temperaments and energy levels.
- Must be okay handling fecal matter and washing nether regions 💩
- Must be comfortable with the possibility of getting wet and, occasionally, nibbled (getting bit comes with the territory!).
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.

**Purrfectly Pampered Pet Spa Family,**

I hope this message finds you all well. I wanted to take a moment to share some heartfelt updates regarding our reopening. As many of you know, we’ve been navigating some tough times, and I want to be transparent with you about our current situation.

My wonderful husband, Bradley, our go-to handyman, has been working tirelessly to keep us afloat financially. He’s juggling a long list of responsibilities, from managing our business's reopening in Old Fort to tackling our home’s never-ending "honey-do" list. His dedication and hard work mean everything to me and to our pet spa.

Unfortunately, Bradley will be traveling to Florida for a few weeks to ensure that we can continue paying our bills. Since breaking my leg I’ve face many challenges with my recovery. Bradley has went above and beyond to provide for us during the most challenging season of our lives. This means that all work on our shop will need to pause until he returns home around Christmas. Logistically, this is a nightmare, especially since we’re approaching our busiest time of year. We now anticipate that we won’t be able to reopen until January.

I want to express my deepest gratitude for all the donations and support we have received during this challenging time. It has truly made a difference. I am especially thankful for Bradley; without his efforts, none of this would be possible.

Please bear with us as we navigate this delay. We are doing everything we can to get back to serving you and your pets. If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out to me personally at 828-925-0535. I will do my best to respond, but please understand that I’m juggling quite a bit right now, so responses may take a little time.

It's hard to believe that just one year ago, we embarked on a journey to create a haven for our furry friends! We poured our hearts into building new rooms and crafting a beautiful aesthetic that would make every dog feel special and pampered. After finally opening our doors in December, I thought all my dreams had come true. But then came September 27, 2024, when Helene swept through and took so much of what we had built down the Catawba River. It’s been a challenging time, and I’m not sure things will ever be the same.
