URGENT UPDATE ‼️ We are still looking for an inexpensive place for Jamie and Buddy to live. Jamie and his dog Buddy will be homeless in 8 days unless we can figure out a living situation for them. We are now reaching out to anyone who can help us figure this out. Jamie has a very limited income. If anyone knows of a cheap rent that is available for one man and his dog please send us a message and let us know. We do not want to see Jamie and Buddy back on the streets in the middle of winter. All housing options for Jamie have fallen through. We appreciate all help.

We just wanted to clarify that we do not currently have over 7000 in the Go Fund Me. the Go fund me was created back in July and a lot of the money has already been spent on his housing and other necessities. Go fund me also takes a portion from every donation.

Jamie and Buddy were struggling in the heat. We took them to a hotel and got them some food. Thanks to our generous supporters and the town they have been staying at a motel since July. Since then Jamie has faced many issues with finding a rent despite trying every day to fix his situation. He notified us today that he has no more options.

🚨 Help Save Moxie: Pittie Posse Founder's Pup 🚨

Moxie is a beloved dog who is lucky enough to call Britt and Sully, the founders of Pittie Posse Rescue & Sanctuary, her humans.

And at Pittie Posse, when it rains, it often pours — and right now, Moxie needs our help.

Last night, Moxie suddenly wasn't acting right...💔

Known to be an absolute food hound, it was deeply concerning when she became lethargic, refused food, and was cowering in pain.

Britt & Sully rushed Moxie to our friends at MVMC, and the diagnosis that they were given knocked the world out from underneath them...splenic cancer.

At eight years old, this wasn’t the news they ever expected.

Despite an estimated $15,000 cost for treatment, Britt and Sully didn’t hesitate to make the decision to do everything they could to save Moxie’s life. She was rushed into emergency surgery at 9 PM last night to have her spleen removed.

As many of you already know, we’ve been assisting with the search for Finn for the past few weeks. Finn was found today but unfortunately didn’t survive. Please keep his family in your thoughts ❤️

We are heartbroken to say Finn was found but did not survive. We extend our deepest sympathies to his family. Thank you to everyone who helped look for Finn over the past weeks.

Finn, a neutered brown and white staffordshire pit bull bulldog is missing from his home on Montgomery Road. He is 3 years old, 65 pounds and wearing a collar. He is also wearing an orange fleece with a blank harness. His tag is attached to the harness.

Hello Team Duckie,

Just wanted to make a post to update you that as of right now Duckie has still not returned home and I am still actively searching for her.🥺💔💚

Thank you to everyone who continues to be on the lookout for Duckie in person and online. It means the world to me. Please continue to keep your eyes and ears open for signs of Duckie outside in case she is still out in the wild somehow.

The man from Trader Joe’s who was sighted with a parrot matching Duckie’s description the day she went missing saying he “just found the bird today” has still not been located/been able to be contacted as of me writing this post.

I know I haven’t posted as much and I will never give up searching for Duckie, but am also trying to heal my heart at the same time. Even though I haven’t posted please know I’m still doing a lot behind the scenes.

There is still a reward of $1,000 for her safe return and all that matters is that she comes home safe.

I’m hoping my hunch is right and she was at least found by someone so she’s safe from the cold. Even if someone does have her and hasn’t returned her, I hope she’s being taken care of and is happy.

Thank you for your continued support throughout this traumatic journey and for helping me never lose hope. Regardless of the outcome (which I will forever hope and pray is Duckie miraculously coming home safe), I’ll forever be grateful for the wonderful and kind humans that have helped me and Duckie in so many ways.

In the meantime, I will continue to search for my Duckie girl but am also trying to dedicate time to helping other birds (and their humans) as much as I can in any way I can.

Hopefully someday we can get to a point where there are no more missing animals, or missing loved ones in general, at all. My heart goes out to anyone who has ever lost a loved one (human or animal) in any way, capacity, shape or form. All we can do is try and make them proud by exhausting every option to try and find them, living your life in a way they’d be proud of and reminding yourself that at the end of the day, they would want you to be happy.

I will continue to do my best to respond to comments and messages on Facebook as they come in, will be monitoring my txt messages and will post if I ever have any important updates.
