**Sold. Finn has found a loving home in canton, ga. Happy trails bud! ❤️**
Let's try this again. Going to make this post as simple as possible
Finn. He is a 6yr old 15hand gelding.
What he does..
Decent to catch, stands tied all day long, loads and backs off, stands for farrier, stands for grooming, a bath and saddling. He W/T/L, stops great and backs up.
What he is NOT.
Finished on anything at all. Crazy. Buck wild or a flat runaway. For your first horse or straight beginners horse
He is gentle and easy going, gentle to get along with and ride. He does need more wet saddle pads. He does need a confident advance beginner or better rider. When he is unsure of crossing or going somewhere, he his confidence and he will go!
For the more experienced riders or trainers, he will make an exceptional ranch or rope horse with more time! Hes in the lows ###x with a three! Located in Cleveland tn
Picked back up on working Dunkin finally after everything has settled for the most part. This colt is going to be one of the easiest colts to break! Hes just easy going as can be! First time with a saddle today and flexing and he took it like a champ! Like he's been doing it forever! Good boy!
Bingo's progress already!! ❤️❤️❤️
I've still got 3 of these 4 females 👀 for 🏡
Born May 6th. Really need to get them moved! Catahoulas. Cleveland tn
Luke's progress! We upgraded to a full pad today! It wasn't as bad as I anticipated. We still had some jumps and snorts but over all was a good experience! NEXT step in a saddle 😁
Update on one of my "Wildies" (Bandit). We've started on groundwork today and what started off as a handful (what I didn't get to get on video or even think about today 🤦🏼♀️) he was dipping off and pulling from my hand regardless of what I did, ended up in harmony and listening to what I was asking. He picked up lunging pretty decent by the end!
I absolutely LOVE having my lesson girls! Them and their horses are coming along amazingly and it's definitely telling in their times when they run shows!!! Helping them just makes my heart happy to see them succeed in their goals and dreams! If ANYONE needs help with their horse, check us out!
Luke's progress yesterday.
** LENGHTY VIDEO **
I left the sound on so you can tell just how snorty this colt it. It was a lengthy process but the progress was 🤌
We even got to throw a rope across Bingo's back 😊
Not the best video but started lunging one of "wildies" (Bingo) yesterday and I have to say he picked up pretty good and has the kindest eye. ❤️
Got this colt in over the weekend of Jami Bennett's for desensitization, feet work and to get started under saddle. A jump start to help her out. He is Definitely a snorty guy! We spent 2 and half hours today working on picking up his front feet. When I first started, you couldn't get near them without him jumping sideways and kicking out. Every time I'd bend down, he'd get spooked. Ended up having to start him with a leg rope to get use to pressure around his legs and feet and to give when asked for my safety. By the end of the session, he was letting me pick them up and hold them. Baby steps.. hes scared of ropes as well or anything dragging by him. We worked on all that as well today. He Definitely ended on a good note. Will continue the process this week until he's comfortable with the front feet and then move to the back when he is ready. Will also be introducing a saddle blanket/pad to him as well this week. Couldn't get the whole session on video. My phone decides to get hot when running long periods of time 🤦🏼♀️ so I get what I can
This colt goes home tomorrow after 90 days with us. He's such a gentle giant and definitely loves his kids! After a good ride, he followed my little boy all over the arena and stopped every time he did. I didn't have to steer or ask him to go to follow, he just did. Only thing I "helped" with was whoa and all I did was sit deep in my seat and he knew not to walk on top of him. Hes got a gentle soul 🥰🥰 Chessa Frazier I appreciate the opportunity to work with this guy!
