Librela is the first and only monthly injectable anti-nerve growth factor (NGF) monoclonal antibody (mAb) therapy for dogs with osteoarthritis (OA) pain.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸?

Although the effects of Librela may not be seen until after the second dose, some dogs may show a decrease in the signs of pain as soon as seven days after the first dose. With once-monthly injections, Librela provides long-lasting control of OA pain.

Jacques is one of the newest editions to our Woodlands Animal Hospital team!! Let’s Welcome him!!

Drifting through his twenties without much idea of what to be doing, Jacques was home visiting his family and friends one Christmas, when a friend of his turned to him and said "You should be a Vet Tech."

Jacques delivered pizzas while going to SPC, frequently volunteered at Animal Services through college and now he is one of the most passionate Vet Technicians that we have had the pleasure of hiring. He is also a Stand Up Comedian at that!

He is an avid lover of music! His collection of vinyl records almost spans a century. Jazz recordings with a heavy emphasis in The Seventies. Ronnie James Dio is hands down Jacques favorite singer! In fact one of Jacques' two black cats is legally named Ronnie James Meow (though if you ask the cat he would probably think his name is "IT'S NOT TIME FOR DINNER!”

What we love most about Jacques is his comical side that makes a busy day go smoother!! His laughter is infectious! Not to mention his unique style! But one thing that is most noticeable is his heart felt care for not only the patients but their owners❤️Again thank you Jacques for all you do and the happiness you bring to our office!!🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐾

I would like to introduce one of our veterinary technicians - Jennifer Davis 🐾. She joined us here at Woodlands this year! Welcome❤️ Jennifer is originally from a small town not far from St. Louis, MO. She moved to Florida in 2018 to enjoy the beautiful weather and get away from the snow. Jennifer has been a veterinary technician for 12 years and went into veterinary medicine for the love of animals. She has 1 dog - Moxxi and 2 cats - Lexi and Dezi. You can typically find her spending time with her children, at the gym, or enjoying a lazy day at the beach.

Jennifer has been a great asset to Woodlands Animal Hospital. What we love most about Jennifer is her positive attitude and her charisma. Her exceptional skill set is what sets her apart in this field and enables her to provide quality client and patient care❤️
