🎓🐾 Paws Up for Our Graduates! 🐾🎓

A huge round of ap-paws to the incredible dogs (and their dedicated handlers!) who graduated today from our American Kennel Club S.T.A.R. Puppy and Canine Good Citizen (CGC) classes!

These pups have worked hard to build skills, boost confidence, and become well-mannered members of the community—and it showed today during their evaluations! Some even went above and beyond, earning Trick Dog titles too!🏅

To the humans behind the leash: thank you for your commitment, patience, and love. Your teamwork with your dogs is inspiring to watch, and we’re so proud of what you’ve accomplished together.

These free, family-friendly events are a wonderful opportunity for kids to learn how to interact safely and respectfully with dogs—whether they have one at home or simply love meeting them in the community!

Got a new puppy full of zoomies, curiosity, and potential? The Olean Kennel Club is excited to offer a new session of our AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Class, designed to help you and your pup build a strong foundation for a lifetime of learning and companionship!

Class Details:

📅 Wednesdays, Sept. 24 – Nov. 19, 2025
(No class on October 8th)

🕠 Time: 5:30–6:30 PM

👩‍🏫 Instructor: Amanda DePrins

This 8-week class covers socialization, basic obedience, and guidance on responsible puppy ownership. It all leads up to the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Test—your pup’s first step toward becoming a well-mannered canine citizen! 🏅

🐾 Requirements:
✔️ Puppies must be between 10 weeks and 9 months old at the start of class
✔️ Must be up to date on age-appropriate vaccines
✔️ Must have a clean f***l test

Our November 2024 Sophie Award winner-Flash and Lori Hochdanner. They had to be entered in all the Novice classes on both trial days to qualify. The judges picked the team that exemplified team work and good sportsmanship.
