Many had asked what would be the best way to store manure. Here is my set up. I love it but it does need an apron. The sh*t-pit is about 20x24. The saw Dust is 18x24 with 18ft front of the cover and about 10ft the height of the back wall. it allows for a dump trailer to back into that and empty with min work wit skidloader to push the saw dust back.

So, we made a big announcement about the IEA ADULT PILOT PROGRAM.

Now what?

IEA has created a webpage for the ADULT PILOT PROGRAM under the Opportunities tab that lists potential shows that are planning on hosting adult classes.
https://www.rideiea.org/opportunities/adult-pilot-program/

This webpage will also house the results of adult rider points for each discipline zone/region as well as other information pertaining to the Adult Pilot Program.

Interested in including ADULT CLASSES at your IEA show?
Please reach out to Emily David [email protected] to be included on the list.

Interested in participating in the ADULT PILOT PROGRAM as a RIDER?

Check out the map of teams that are in your area or reach out to coaches near you about participating on their team. Teams will be added to the map as they let us know they plan to participate in this program.

Please note - As this is the first year of the Pilot Program, there may or may not be available Adult shows/classes in your area.
As interest grows, more shows will be added. We are overwhelmed with the enthusiasm for this program and look forward to developing it with you.

BY PONYMOMAMMY I am firmly in the camp of never blaming the horse/pony when things go wrong. This concept has been engrained in me since I first put a foot in the stirrup, and I hold strong to that belief today.  Sometimes I wonder if this mentality is universal for all equestrians, and if it […]

There's a tale told by Mike Page that in the weeks leading up to the 1968 Olympics, where Bill Steinkraus and Snowbound won individual gold, Bill had Bert DeNemethy lunge him daily, so, as Bill said, he could get into his seat.

Being an integral part of the motion is the hallmark of all great riders, and one way towards that elusive goal is being lunged without stirrups. It costs nothing, is relatively safe, takes very little space, and anyone can do it, so there's a tip from the top, Steinkraus himself.

Bridles and Bits and Reins…OH MY! April 30, 2022May 3, 2022 Liz In hunter breeding, the only piece of tack your horse is wearing is their bridle. Therefore, it is the most important piece of equipment you are bringing on show day. With that in mind…my first recommendation is to have a back up, o...

BY A REGRETFUL AMATEUR There wasn’t one specific comment that did me in. There were years of comments. I had been at a medium-sized show barn for about 5 years. The facilities were beautiful.
