🚨Important Announcement🚨

Since we have not received as many entries as we had hoped, we are converting our Labor Day Schooling Show into a Coursework Clinic🤩! This is a fantastic opportunity for riders of all levels that we believe will be both valuable and enjoyable for everyone🥳!! The clinic will cater to both hunters and jumpers, and it will provide personalized instruction and feedback from experienced professionals💪🏼!

We will be offering 3 sections:
- Flatwork/X-Rails(8:00am-9:00am)
- 2'(9:15am-10:30am)
- 2'3"-2'6"(10:45am-12:00pm)
We will also be offering a special lead line class for your little ones🤗 as well as providing a catered lunch🍟 after the conclusion of the last section!!

Presenting Ziva🐾 and Gator’s🐊 boys take II🎬!! These sweet pups were whelped on July 27th and are 3 weeks old today🥳! We are so proud🤩 of Ziva for being the best momma to yet another litter of precious pups🥰 and thankful she was able to safely deliver Gator’s🐊 last litter🤍!! We wrapped up our final week of ☀️OVS Pony Camp☀️ yesterday, and although we’re sad camp is over, we had SO much fun🤩!! Our campers made so many memories this summer riding🐴, grooming🥰, painting ponies🎨 , making new friends - both horse and human🥰 - and SO much more🤗!! In case you missed camp this year, don’t worry😎 - we will all be waiting with excitement for next summer🥳!!

Our team had a fantastic week braving the summer heat in Brownland🤩 we had both veterans and rookies alike, and all of our riders were stars⭐️!! Some of our highlights include:
☀️Eva S***z and All Ablaze🔥 had amazing trips in the medium ponies finishing the week with 🥉 in the handy!!
☀️Miller Dionne and Pal Joey🦘 braved their first out of town A show together AND came out 4th in the SS Eq. U/S!!
☀️Kayla Benson and Corville Z🦓 had great trips in the .85M Amateur Jumpers coming home with 🥉 and 5th out of a large group!!

Our OVS team had a phenomenal time last week☀️!! All of our riders showed out in force💪🏼 and brought home some amazing ribbons🎉!! Some highlights include🥳:
🏅All Ablaze🔥 and Eva S***z had some of their best trips to date in the Medium Pony Hunters bringing home 🥈 in both the handy and USEF Pony Medal
🏅 Oak View’s Sportin Blue🌀 and Archer Adams took home some top places in a large USHJA 2’ division including 4th‼️ under saddle
🏅Corville Z🦓 and Kayla Benson dominated the sidesaddle division bringing home 🥇 in both classes under the lights
🏅Touch The Sky🌤️ and Cat Adams had a wonderful first sidesaddle show back bringing home several top placings including Reserve Championships in Opp. Hunter Pleasure and Opp. English Pleasure
🏅Rollingwood’s Cookie Crumb🍪 and Laura Lawson teamed up for the first time taking home 4th in the Exhibition Working Carriage Championship and 🥇 in the Best Carriage Dog class driving Earnest Tea to yet another victory
🏅Crilban Viscount of Shale👑 and Kayla Benson had one of their best shows yet claiming 🥇 in Exhibition Working Carriage Single Pony, 🥈 in Carriage Scurry Races, and 🥉 in the Carriage Gambler’s Choice
🏅We also had a huge turnout in Lead Line with 3 of our upcoming young equestrians showing out! Congratulations to Aria Lawson riding Crilban Viscount of Shale👑, Elouise McAlister riding Rollingwood’s Cookie Crumb🍪, and Caroline Carruthers riding All Ablaze🔥!!

We had some serious ☀️ fun in the sun☀️ this past week at our first week of pony camp!! Our campers LOVED getting to ride, learn, and even paint some ponies🤩 OVS Pony Camp is a great way for your child to gain valuable horsemanship skills🧠, learn basic riding skills from our wonderful school horses🦄, AND have the best summer ever🥳!! We had such an AWESOME time kicking off our 2024 season in Gulfport this past week 🎉!! We had some beautiful weather☀️, and all of our horse and rider teams had fantastic trips🏆🏅!! Each of our riders came home with some nice ribbons and we are looking forward to the rest of the 2024 show season🤩!!

Sign up now for Summer Pony Camp at Oak View Stables!

Oak View Stables Pony Camp is a fun, safe introduction to horsemanship for children ages 5-14. Pony Camp is ideal for beginners looking for an introduction to the wonderful world of horses, and for advanced riders looking to hone their skills. The students will attend Monday through Friday from 8am – 2pm for five days of supervised activities with horses. Activities will include English riding, grooming, safety, handling and general care of horses, arts and crafts, outdoor games, schooling shows, carriage driving and sidesaddle demonstrations, and more!! Beginner riders will gain confidence while learning basic skills in a positive atmosphere. Intermediate & advanced riders will have the opportunity to improve their equitation & jumping skills. We can't wait to see you this summer at Oak View!
