Our artichokes are happy for the shift in weather. They did NOT like those 100+ days! I fixed up our herb bed over the last week or so and started putting in some fall friendly crops (cabbage and kale). We’ll be finishing our full fall planting toward the end of the month. Can’t wait to have fresh radishes, fava beans and a variety of greens available soon 💛

Summer is coming to a close. It’s been a wild season on the farm. The chickens completely stopped laying in protest of the heat. So did the ducks. Our pollinators decided to go south (north,east?... nobody knows) for the summer... which led to our crops not being as productive as planned. But that’s the nature of a business built on well... nature. So we’lll keep on trucking. The fall garden is going in over the next month and we will continue to move forward 💛🦚 DM if you’re looking for fresh eggs once our girls end their egg boycott ☺️
