Good news friends! I will be out trimming today. 🙂

My daughter is still sick however she's doing better than she was the past 2 days. My oldest is going to watch her for me today so I can get out there and trim some nails! Woo hoo!

I want to say thank you to everyone for your continued understanding and support.

ALSO! I am still booked out about 8 weeks and am thinking this is the new norm. I currently have no availability until mid-March and I am so sorry to those who have got off our normal schedules due to availability. Please feel free to prebook yourself using the link below, you can request as many appointments as you'd like!

I am looking forward to summer break when I can extend my working hours. (I am still unable to see new clients at this time.)

I will be closed again today, my daughter is still sick.

I want to say thank you to all the clients I have canceled on the last few days. It's tough to operate as a single mom with no back up or help when these kids get sick. I appreciate you all more than you will ever know!

When it rains it pours ☹️ I will be closed again today. My daughter woke up with a fever of 103 so I will be home taking care of her.

6 months ago this sweet boy was absolutely terrified of nail trimming after a bad experience at Petsmart. Now nail trimming is one of his favorite activities! Great job Luca 🥰

UPDATE: Ford has to run some more diagnostics on the van next week and said I should be safe to keep driving until then so that's my plan! I will resume trimming tomorrow.

It goes back in on Thursday, December 12th and it's looking like it may need a new catalytic converter, not just a sensor as we hoped. Prayers it's not an expensive fix! 🤞🏼

Bad news friends...

The van's repairs were not as simple as expected. I am waiting to hear back from the Ford Dealership to see what my options are and will keep you all updated.

When it rains, it pours...

The van's check engine light came on today. I have a scanner and was able to pull the code and it looks like it's an issue with the catalytic converter.

My mechanic says I should be safe to drive it tomorrow so YES, I will still be out trimming tomorrow (Wednesday, November 27th).

I do however have a few of you scheduled for this Saturday which I need to move to Sunday so I can take the van into the shop for diagnostics. Some more appointments may need to be moved throughout the week depending on what they find out and how soon it can be repaired.

If we have an appointment this weekend or next week, please keep an eye on your text messages for any updates! I can't thank you all enough for your understanding.
