clothes money as a kid" or how "you were fired for throwing blueberries at someone when you were 12", so come on down and re-live your memories in our fields.

Hi Friends, I’m so sorry that I’ve failed at updating our page this year. Before I let you know where we are with the berries, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for the amazing outpouring of support that you have shown the farm and the Gile family this season. Even with all the uncertainty, the new rules, and of course the social distancing, you showed up with an abundance of love. Thank you for reminding us how much beauty is still left in the world.

Now for your berry update….The u-pick berries are going great this year. The weather this past spring made for some loaded bushes and they are still plentiful. You can come pick for at least another week. The ready pick berries are slowing down so if you are looking for already picked berries, you will want to call ahead after Monday. Ken 360-352-4847 or Leon’s (Dave) 360-357-7458.

Thank you again for supporting our family farm. We are truly blessed to have customers and friends like you.

07/20/2020

Today is the day....we are finally open for the 2020 season. Our pickers started early this morning so that we will have ready pick for sale.
We also have u-pick available with a few extra precautions in place to keep you, our family and our employees safe and healthy. We will have sanitized buckets for you to pick into, or you may bring your own container. Our fields offer enough space that you will be able to social distance while picking. Please be mindful to leave space between you and other groups.

We are open 7 days a week from 8am - 6pm and we truly look forward to seeing you on the farm!

07/15/2020

We finally have some cooperation from mother nature and the sun is getting the flavor in the berries just where the farmer wants it. They need just a few more days so we plan on opening Monday, July 20.
We will be here seven days a week (weather permitting of course) with you pick and ready pick.
Prices are the same as last year $1.75 a pound for u-pick and $2.75 a pound for ready pick. Hope to see you on the farm this summer.

06/30/2020

We are working hard to get the farm open for the 2020 season. We are looking at an opening date sometime around mid July. The berries are looking plentiful, we just need a little more sunshine to finish ripening them up.
We do plan to have u-pick and ready pick berries for you, with safety measures in place. As soon as we have a firm date we will update our page.
We can’t wait to see you all out here on the farm! ❤️

Sometime during the night of May 31st our farm shop was broken into and several items were stolen. Among the items taken were a (blue) wire fed Miller 140 welder, a (yellow) Dewalt chop saw, a Dewalt cordless drill set, And many other miscellaneous tools. Most of the items were engraved with the name ‘Ken Gile’. A police report has been filed, but we are offering for information leading to an arrest or recovery.
This is a big hit to a small farm like ours especially with of all of the other struggles of the past few months.
Please call or text 360-701-0587 with any information. All of us at Gile Berry Farm are so thankful for any tips that you might be able to offer.

08/13/2019

This is the last week to get ready pick blueberries and are freshly restocked after the rain. We are here from 8 to 6 and they are just $2.75 a pound for already picked berries. Don’t miss the chance to fill your freezer.

08/10/2019

We are open but our very tired pickers decided to take advantage of the rain and get some rest. So for this weekend we will have u-pick available only.
Ready pick berries return will return on Monday (Aug. 12.) and should run at least through next weekend.
Thank you for your patience as we ride the wave of unpredictable weather, and worn out humans. We have the best customers! ❤️

08/10/2019

We have learned blueberries picked in the rain don't hold up very well. With that in mind, we have decided to open at noon today. U-pick will be open until six and we hope to have already picked berries available but I will keep you updated on that.
We will resume our normal daily hours of 8am to 6pm tomorrow (Weather permitting of course). In the meantime, the bushes are loving the much needed drink. 🙂See you soon.
