Remember Cone Kitty??😻🥰❤️📣Recent pic!!🎉🎉He’s doing GREAT!!
This tiny kitten was literally washed up in the rainstorm we had a few days ago💔This was on some property where the property owner & I have been partnering together to get the colony fixed & other services to them. He somehow was separated from his litter, that was just newly discovered upon him appearing. The only shelter he could find from the massive rainstorm, cold & wet, was in this traffic cone. Thank goodness the nice people watching over kitties noticed him and took action. His body was cold, soaked & limp, looking like he was on his way out. They notified me right away, but I was already out doing other rescue & recognized that he needed veterinary care beyond what I could responsibly offer & he needed to be seen as soon as possible. They called every emergency clinic between here & even into Seattle, with no luck, so took it upon themselves to do what needed to be done. Anybody can be a rescuer!❤️They carefully warmed him up in hopes that his lethargic body would respond and eventually, it did! He slowly begin to lift his head and move around a little more. He did see a vet the next morning & was cleared for good health with great color on his gums & alertness, but he is very underweight, which can be remedied! So grateful to these kind of people to see a need & take action! They definitely saved his life, as I don’t think he would’ve made it much longer without intervention. I took him as he continued to fluff up, eating like a champ & is working on gaining weight & socializing. Less hissing & more cuddling each day!😻We are continuing working on getting the site spayed & neutered & protected with vaccines, flea treatment & deworming, also socializing the kittens & getting the adults all fixed up to TNR back🎉

UPDATE on Tilt-A-Whirl (previously feral colony kitten)📣Well, mixed news after yet another vet visit (and she had her 1st kitten cup from the coffee shop afterwards!!). THE GOOD NEWS🎉: Tilt is gaining weight, growing in healthy fur to fill in missing areas, and is playing with pep in her step (with multiple daily antibiotic ear treatments & 2x a week ear cleanings, daily probiotics & good food- thank you for your kind donations of food & funds for her!!!)😻Also, after weeks of treatment, we were finally able to settle down the white pus ear infection enough to see all the way through to her eardrum, which was one goal. THE BAD NEWS (but good to know)💔: Tilt has a mass growing from the inside of her head that has grown & punctured her ear drum & is growing out through her ear drum, causing a puncture as it’s growing through it. She needs surgery to remove the mass, but there is only a 50/50 shot all will be removed. She has weeks, maybe months of recovery, treatments & healing to do, possibly longer if this is an ongoing issue & needs further surgeries & treatments. She may always have a head tilt. She may always have health issues. BUT she has grown & improved SO much physically & socially AND is PLAYING like a champ, loves her mouse toys, runs around (a little uncoordinated but she can’t help that😅❤️), even growls at the other cats when she gets her special daily wet food treats😹She is such a sweet little soul with so much love to give. Getting less afraid of living in a house with people & all that comes with it. Loves to snuggle! Happy little thing🙏❤️We are ever so grateful for all the prayers & well wishes for Tilt🥰If you would like to donate to help with her care, please consider. Sooooo much gratitude for this kind donation of kitten food🥰https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/27D21A0L5GB5M?ref_=wl_share We get in babies & nursing mamas with babies who have had very little nutrition in their lives & are battling worms, fleas, upper respiratory illnesses, etc. This good food gives them a jumpstart on improving their immune system & getting their bodies ready for a better life! The rescue goes through tons of food & supplies. so appreciate any help! Passionate Pussycats Feline Rescue Gabi's Olympic Cards & Comics still has our food drive bin up & running! This is another drop off location anytime they are open. So thankful for her & her staff for allowing us to have a food (any cat/kitten wet or dry) & supply (litter, clean/new fleece, kitty toys, etc) collection bin at their amazing store! Check them out!🤗

Happy Halloween!! I’m a fixed ear tipped cat!😻Thank you Angel Bug Garvin for clipping my ear & giving me a “surgery”😹

Love this before & after! (Or after & before rather😆) Straight off the ground from hiding in some blackberry bushes with the rest of the litter off a farm colony. Mama was fixed & was able to go back to her colony with being spayed & receiving shots, flea control, deworming, all the things! These girls were so hissy, growly & BITEY! Poor little things were terrified. I am so pleased with what some patience & finesse can do to make a world of difference for these little girls. They have been loved in a foster home to finish off their socialization & are having a meet & greet this weekend!🎉

So thankful for all the donations so far in Passionate Pussycats Feline Rescue’s food & supply drive bin at Gabi's Olympic Cards & Comics!!🤗 Always so honored and blessed by the members of our community coming together to help these rescued kitties. The bin will still be up for a while if you would like to share something! This can even be a partial box of some canned cat food your kitty didn’t like, the rest of it container of litter, or some leftover puppy pads. We can use it all! Thank you so much!!😻

So tiny! This little nugget, barely a week old, Bartholemeow, had to head to the vet for an emergency appt. The photos actually don’t show the extent of the injury. We’re pretty sure mama was innocently moving them & he was hurt in the move. The wound looked like it was healing well, but then really opened up, likely as she was dutifully cleaning him & cleaned off the scab. Too spread out for stitches, so tried glue, but it popped back open. Now treating with silver honey & keeping a close eye on it. Seems to be healing well, now!!🥰
