We have exactly one half of one hog left to share at fall harvest time, mid-October. These piggies are pastured, fed certified organic grain (no corn, no soy), and enjoy a daily spa treatment including getting hosed down, massaged, mud masked, and loved upon.

Tomorrow is chicken harvest day! Thank you Freedom Ranger Hatchery for bringing us these quality, slow-growing birds. Thank you Patriot Farm and Bison for raising quality grain as feed! Thanks to WSDA for making direct sale of poultry to consumers possible for small farms! Thanks to the Thurston Conservation District for bucking up for the mobile processing unit. Thanks to the hands that have cared for these birds the past 12 weeks. Thanks to the extra hands coming to help with the processing day. Thanks to the customers for buying direct from our small farm. Thanks for all the chicken dinners to come. Gratitude!

I snapped a video of the pigs grazing the other day. This is pasture-raise pork! Leaner meat and fat, high in omegas, very high in fat soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K, and deeply nourishing. Contact me for more information about our pork shares, they are selling fast!

Shh! A customer who tried all the eggs at the market said that our eggs are the best! I just wish we had more of them!

Best thing I heard all day. "Wow your eggs are so orange. I had no idea scrambled eggs could have so much color!" We have a small flock, but they do produce some tasty eggs!

A day well done. The pig pasture is set up with hot wire paddocks and the pigs got to move into their new fresh pasture at dinner time. A good accomplishment indeed! Will post photos tomorrow
