This past weekend a team of our VCA doctors helped the Humane Society of Southwest Washington with their spay and neuter procedures. This partnership not only helps the shelter animals get the medical care they need to be placed in homes faster, but also helps our doctors gain valuable surgical experience. We had four doctors participate in the clinic along with four outstanding members of our veterinary technician team. At VCA we put the future of veterinary medicine first and constantly strive to improve our skills and be the best possible medical team for you and your pets. Great job all!

Is your pet on a specific diet due to allergies or other conditions? We make treats for every customized diet including hydrolyzed protein. Protein is a vital component to any diet. Your dog’s muscles, hormones and disease-fighting antibodies are all proteins. To make what their bodies need, dogs take proteins from food, break them down into building blocks called amino acids, and combine those amino acids into new proteins.
