They were a part of our lives for almost a year. We carefully planted each seed. Not a day went by without the plants. They branched out and into our daily routine. We woke up early with them on our minds, heading out to water and pick in the early morning twilight. We went to bed sore from the work but thinking about doing it again tomorrow. The season has slipped away and cleanup begins. We have all winter to reflect on the blessing of the cycle and the year ahead.

Eggs, soap, and firewood! Also if you are still raking up leaves we are still accepting.

Brrr. The wind is cold and the temperature is forecasted for sustained lows below freezing. This will bring our season to an end. We are grateful for your support throughout the year. Throughout winter we will still offer eggs as available, fire wood, and small harvests of sprouts and microgreens grown in our sunroom. We will post when items are available. We will also soon donate our small surplus of food pantry items to a shelter.

Today, while supplies last, is your last chance at cherry tomatoes for the year.

It's hard to believe that the 12 foot tall tomato plants in our greenhouse once started as tiny sprouts in cups in our sunroom. We have all come a long way together. We hope you will rejoin us again next year as we begin the next season of our lives together.

The first picture shows what is available today....the others glance backwards a bit earlier in the season.

A couple jars of Harper's honey and lots of our neighbor's honey for sale. $10 a jar! Winter squash, pie pumpkins, gourds for Thanksgiving decorations, tomatoes (slicing and cherry), and peppers (bell and Jalapeños).

Also we would love your leaves. We mulch with them and are currently putting in a large garlic bed that will need lots of leaves. The only thing we ask is that they don't have a bunch of seed pods in them or that they weren't mowed up because they would likely contain some fertilized grass clippings. Thanks for helping!

If anyone feels the need to sit outside on an organic urban farm on a beautiful autumn day with a cat on your lap while in quiet and peaceful rest and communion with the non-denominational Holy Spirit of all humanity, you are welcome here. Bring a lawn chair or help yourself to one from our front porch.

We have honey, winter squash, bell peppers, and hope and love and community, if you need it.

Sold out on Jack-o'-lanterns. Sorry.

We do have lots of pie pumpkins, gourds, large gourds, spaghetti squash, acorn squash, butternut squash, honey, and large jalapenos.

A few dozen eggs currently available.

Planning on getting out to the greenhouse to check for bell peppers and tomatoes. Not sure what we have but will update.

Firewood and goat milk soap.

Everything is local. Hope you can make it out.

We sold out of almost everything yesterday. The stand is pretty sparse today. We have some work to do to restock but it won't be ready until tomorrow afternoon. We likely will not have any more carving pumpkins. Sorry if you came out and left empty handed. I will post tomorrow afternoon if we are able to restock.

Don't forget that we are grateful to accept DRY hay bales after you are done with them for the year. Rain in the forecast....

We are also grateful for bags of tree leaves that are raked up (not mown as the grass was likely treated with chemicals).

More updates tomorrow. Thanks for all you do to support our local food community.
