Are you seeing spots or is that just us? Say hello to the Dalmatian Molly!
Dalmatian Mollyās are hardy, friendly fish that do well in most community tanks.
These ladies donāt lay eggs, they give birth to live fry! And they are cute as can be. They do reproduce fast so if you plan on adding these to your tank, make sure itās a tank large enough to accommodate the amount of babies they will likely have. Buuuut, they arenāt the best mothers and will sometimes eat their babies š«£
These fish are ferocious eaters since they are a very active species. They will over eat so make sure to give portions that they can eat in 3-5 minutes.

Itās the day before the 4th of July šŗšø
Make sure your dog has a designated safe space where they can go to decompress during all the sky booms tonight and tomorrow.
Kennels or crates, a quiet room in the basement, you get the idea! If your dog feels the need to retreat we encourage you to have a designated space for that so that they donāt retreat by running away from home!
Bonus Tip: give your dog a special snack like a frozen kong, lick mat, bully stick or femur bone to give them something to focus on when they first go in.
Itās no secret that Anya loves her kennel, how does your dog feel about theirs?

What is Positive Reinforcement ā
Youāll hear our trainer and staff talk about this often so for this weeks #trainertiptuesday we want to fill you in on what this means, and why itās important!
The @americankennelclub says that Positive Reinforcement training involves rewarding your dog for the things they do right. The reward could be a toy, a game, a treat or whatever your dog wants to work for!
Positive Reinforcment is scientifically proven to be the most effective and humane form of training available to pet owners and trainers.
Did you know that animals at AZA accredited zoos are even trained using positive reinforcement? If we can train a tiger without the use of force, surely we can train a dog!
If you are interested in learning more about positive reinforcement training and how to get started with your own dog we welcome you to attend our Start Smart training seminar this Sunday at 4! It is only $25 to attend!

For this weeks #wackywednesday we want to talk about one of the most versatile pond friends - the Goldfish!
Did you know ā Goldfish have a lifespan of approximately 40 years?!
Goldfish do not have stomachs. Thatās wild š¤Æ Due to their lack of stomach it is best to feed goldfish small meals frequently, rather then lots of food at once. This is also why itās important to have a good filtration setup up for your tank or pond - they produce A LOT of waste.
Goldfish can grow to over a foot long - this is why the minimum recommended tank size for all goldfish we sell is 29 gallons for one goldfish. Larger if youād like multiple.
Whatās your favorite thing about goldfish?
