🐾 Meet Rufus! 🐾
Rufus is an energetic 6-year-old Black Lab who was referred to canine PT by Sirius Vet Orthopedic Center after struggling with continual limping that began this spring and gradually worsened. After a full orthopedic workup and arthroscopy on 8/18/25, Rufus was diagnosed with:
Bicep tendon injuries (R > L, this was found to be normal during surgery)
Partial medial glenohumeral ligament injuries in both shoulders
Left fragmented coronoid process (removed via arthroscopy, right side WNL)
Minimal osteoarthritis in his shoulders, elbows, and carpal joints
Now that surgery is behind him, Rufus is diving into his PT journey with one big goal — to get strong, mobile, and back to doing what he loves most: hunting with his owner! 💪🐕💙
Let’s all root for Rufus as he works hard to get back out in the field!

🌟 Meet Abby! 🌟
Abby is a sweet 4-year-old mixed breed terrier who injured her CCL back in May, making it tough for her to do what she loves most—playing in the yard. 🐾💔
In June, she underwent a TPLO surgery with Sirius Veterinary Orthopedic Center and is now working hard in physical therapy to rebuild her strength and mobility. 💪✨ With her determination (and plenty of love from her family), Abby’s goal is to get back to running, playing, and enjoying life to the fullest. 💙

💖 Meet Lucy! 💖
Lucy is a sweet 10-year-old pup who was referred to canine PT by Premier Pet Hospital after a right CCL rupture. Her injury originally occurred in March of 2023 and seemed to heal, but after a fall on the ice this past March, she reinjured her knee. Instead of surgery, Lucy and her family chose to pursue PT with the goal of getting her back to standing strong and moving better on both back legs.
During her initial PT evaluation, Lucy was also found to have some laxity in her left stifle. She was referred back to her vet for further evaluation and cleared to continue her rehab journey. Now, Lucy is working hard to regain stability and strength in both knees — and we’re cheering her on every step of the way! 🐾💪💜

Mac’s biggest goal? To get back to using his left back leg so he can enjoy long walks with his family and play in the yard like the happy, active pup he is! 💙🐾
Let’s all cheer Mac on as he works toward his goals — you’ve got this, buddy! 🎉💪🐶

🌟 Meet Finley! 🌟
Finley is an 8-year-old Shih Tzu who began limping back in mid-April. After some testing, it was discovered that he had sustained bilateral CCL tears along with a right medial patellar luxation (MPL). 💔
On 6/17/25, Finley underwent surgery to repair both stifles with Sirius Vet Orthopedic Center and has since started his physical therapy journey with us. His goal? To regain strength and return to his full prior level of function so he can get back to living his best life. 🐾💪✨

🐾 Meet Ayda! 🐾
Ayda is a beautiful 4-year-old Great Pyrenees who was referred to physical therapy by Elkhorn South Veterinary Clinic after her owner began noticing signs of pain and limping about a year ago. 💔🐕
Initially suspected to have an ACL injury and hip dysplasia, Ayda was evaluated here and referred for further testing. She was then seen by Dr. Marriott at Skyline Veterinary Clinic, who determined that her mobility issues were primarily due to hip dysplasia and recommended continuing physical therapy. 💪✨
Ayda is now on her rehab journey with the goal of returning to longer walks, hikes, and even running alongside her owner again. With her gentle spirit and determination, we’re confident she’ll get there one paw at a time! 🐶❤️
Let’s give Ayda all the encouragement as she works hard to get back to doing what she loves most!

🐾 Stretch it Out! Why Stretching Your Dog Matters 🐶✨
Just like humans, our furry friends benefit from regular stretching—especially active pups, senior dogs, or those recovering from injury. 💪🐕
Here’s why stretching should be part of your dog’s routine
✔️ Improves flexibility & range of motion
✔️ Reduces muscle stiffness and soreness
✔️ Supports overall mobility & comfort—especially in aging pets
✔️ Enhances circulation
✔️ Helps prevent injuries

Whether it’s a gentle leg stretch or a full-body puppy yoga session, a little goes a long way! 🧘‍♂️🐕 Always stretch slowly, and if you're unsure how, we’re here to help guide you.
Your dog’s body deserves the same TLC you give your own. 💙

🐾 Meet Bailey! 🐾
Bailey is a sweet and active 6-year-old Golden Retriever who was brought in after her parents noticed intermittent periods of limping on her right hind leg. Wanting to get to the bottom of it, they consulted with their vet—and discovered the cause: a right cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) tear.
In February, Bailey underwent TPLO surgery to repair the injury, and now she’s starting physical therapy to:
💪 Regain full strength in her right hind limb
🏃‍♀️ Rebuild agility and return to her previous level of activity
We’re so excited to be a part of Bailey’s recovery journey and help this golden girl get back to doing what she loves most!
