With temps rising it’s important to keep your pets hydrated, limit outside time, and to pay attention to signs of overheating and heat stroke.

Here are some signs that your dog might be overheated:
*Panting: Excessive or rapid panting, also known as hyperventilation
*Drooling: More than usual drooling
*Redness: Bright red tongue, gums, or inside of ears
*Discomfort: Slowing down or stopping on walks, anxiety, or signs of general discomfort
*Other signs: Wide, stressed eyes, seeking shade and water, vomiting, diarrhea, wobbly legs, or elevated temperature
