I have to share…. I had a dream, since I saw this house, more than 15 years ago, to have my horses next to me, and maybe one day board horses. It goes without saying, immeasurable amounts of blood, sweat and lots and lots of tears came with making this dream a reality. As many of you crazy horse people know, horse boarding can be kind of… brutal. The first few years were very rocky, scary, and I about lost my faith in people. I actually put this house on the market, and it sold.

I did not accept the offer and stayed.

That’s when things changed. GOd put some incredible people, started off as NON-FRIENDS, in my life. These non friends became…. well, like really really amazing fertilizer. Lol. I’m not good with words. The thing is, SWC was built on dreams, passion, family, friends. We had an incredible root system, Megan, Jay and I. Along the way we had new, good people come and go. Then we got some damn thistles, Poison ivy, itch w**d. I came so so close to walking away.

When the w**ds were gone, the grass grew, better, stronger.

SWC now has some of the most fantastic people you could want to hang around. It’s a safe, warm, encouraging, fun, Adventure. We are a team. We are friends. Yes, possibly a bit crazy.

SWC now has a waiting list that is getting longer and longer.

Dreams come true.
