ffer the following home security services at no additional charge: taking in newspapers/mail, alternating lights on/off, opening and closing window coverings, watering plants, taking out leftover garbage, and so on. I will always provide either notes on your pet's activity or regular e-mail/voicemail/text communication (whichever you prefer) to let you know how your pet is doing in your absence. I have seven years specific pet sitting experience in both Omaha and Denver, three years animal shelter volunteer experience and a lifetime of personal pet companionship and animal rights advocacy- currently having two rescue cats and a rescue dog. I am also a member of World Vets and traveled to Mexico in June, providing vaccinations, spays, neuters, and emergency medical treatment to the the community's often ignored and maltreated animal population. Pets are family and should be treated as such- I live by this philosophy and strive to provide the most loving and familiar environment I can for your pets while you're away, as staying in their home with their own routine dramatically reduces thier stress of your absence. If you'd like care out of your home, I do offer a large fenced yard, live a few blocks from many parks, have pet beds, many toys and treats! Please let me know what you need and how I can work with you! I can also pick up and drop off, as well as run errands, transport to and from vet and grooming appts, and love driving the dogs over to Hefflinger dog park for some fun. These pictures are hard to look at but Catz Angels CARE, Inc. sees this all the time. Many kittens that are born outside come to us with horrible eye infections, fly bots, fleas, tics, upper respiratory infections, broken legs and tails, and ringworm. Some eyes are already gone due to the infection and need removed. Some limbs and tails need amputated because the breaks are beyond repair. CARE gets the necessary vet treatments needed. An eye removal or amputation can cost close to $1000. CARE only wishes that we could help and do more to prevent this suffering. Please help us to not let these kittens suffer. Welcome to December! As we get closer to Christmas, we want to take a moment to remind everyone that cats and dogs are not just Christmas presents but are a commitment for their entire lives. Some pets can live 15-20 or more years.

When buying a pet for someone else for Christmas, please make sure that the person has input and that the pet is actually wanted and there is a lifetime commitment to that pet. Surprises are good but when it comes to an innocent life, that’s not something to take lightly.

If the entire household agrees and makes the commitment then a pet as a present is a wonderful thing!

Friends!

We are opening a retail store called The Sunflowrer Painter LLC in Denver for the holidays and we creating a business plan to actively seek adoptions for our Chappell Nebraska farm cats by fundraising for our Art and Cats themed Cafe opening in 2024.

The Nebraska farm property will be going up for sale in 2024 and we will be actively rehoming barn cats beginning this holiday season in Denver Colorado

We had two pregnant females dumped on the farm this summer resulting in 10 kittens, and we have 5 left that need rabies shots before they be posted for adoptions in Denver -to await adoptions per PACFA guidelines.

Shots and health exam per kitten are 77 dollars each at White Bluffs Veterinary Clinic in Sidney.

DIRE SITUATION AT THE SHELTER!!!

911: LARGE IMPENDING HOARDING CASE!!!

🚨🚨THIS IS EXTREMELY URGENT!!!!🚨🚨

These cats and kittens will die without placement!!! We need your help to save them. The shelter and KHS are busting at the seams with animals-- and so are local rescues. Yesterday, the Lieutenant of the Wichita Animal Shelter reached out to our team pleading for help as a hoarding situation unfolds.

The KHS/WAS are at capacity and many animals are in need of placement and movement to make space for the impending arrivals. The situation is desperate and most have uri signs and symptoms as well as diarrhea. Many that have already been processed into the shelter are friendly.

The approximate estimate at this time is 40 within the first 72 hours as the animal control team then works to get the remaining 20 out of the home by setting traps.

The animals pictured below are NOT from the incoming hoarding situation but are current cats at risk who need placement so the shelter has space and available man power to deal with a high volume of ill cats.

We know everyone is full but we can’t do this alone and even if a group is able to take one of these lives pictured it will help tremendously as we trudge through the trenches.

Please we need help! If you’ve ever thought about stepping up to foster this is the time! We need you more then ever to save lives.
