🌨️ Cold Weather Pet Safety Tips 🐾

As the temperatures drop, let’s make sure our furry friends stay safe and cozy! Here are some essential tips to keep your pets protected this winter:

1️⃣ Limit Outdoor Time: Just like us, pets can get frostbite and hypothermia. Keep outdoor time short and sweet.

2️⃣ Bundle Up: Short-haired breeds may need a warm coat or sweater for extra protection against the cold.

3️⃣ Check Paws: Snow, ice, and salt can irritate paw pads. Wipe them down after walks to keep them healthy.

4️⃣ Provide Shelter: If your pet lives outdoors, ensure they have a warm, dry, and insulated shelter away from wind and moisture.

5️⃣ Hydration Matters: Cold weather can dehydrate pets, so make sure fresh water is always available.

6️⃣ Beware of Antifreeze: This can be toxic to pets, so clean up any spills and store it safely out of reach.

'Josie arrived in our family at four and a half weeks. She was the littlest one in the litter. Her journey with us was for 17 yrs and 3 months!
