Save the Date! Summer Camp Registration will open on February 1st.
Established by Ann Mactier in 1965, the Ponca Hills Farm Summer Day Camp continues to offer young riders an unforgettable experience with horses and horse-loving friends.
Each two week Beginner Riding Camp will consist of a daily riding lesson suited to the level of the rider, as well as a classroom activity covering basic horse knowledge and care. These sessions will run Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., and are open to riders aged 8 - 12. These camps are best suited for beginner riders ranging from no experience to those able to trot over poles and micro-x'es.
Our one week Beginner Horsemanship Camp is geared toward children 6 - 8 years old with no riding experience. This camp will center on grooming and gaining confidence around horses, with some riding on the lunge line or lead rope. This camp also runs Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
