Reactive Dog Session - Duck

Last night we had the pleasure of host Ducky, The Snacko Queen, at our store. Her favorite Auntie brought her in and spoiled her rotten since it was her GOTCHADAY! Happy GotchaDay Duck! 🥳🎉

Ducky is still learning to be okay in new places, with new people, and new dogs. She did PHENOMENAL! She was willing to approach to receive treats and even wanted to hold hands. From how it sounds, Ducky has come a long way and is still working to go further. We loved having Duck and look forward to having her back in the store again!

Fun Fact: Miss Duck is 12! This girl looks and acts like a little puppy!

🐾 Reactive Dog Session: Vera 🐾

Meet Vera! This adorable pup is reactive around dogs, and nervous around new people, but let me tell you, she’s a total foodie, so it didn’t take long to win her over with some tasty treats!

During our session, Vera went off leash and had an absolute blast shopping around with her parents. She even showed off some of her best tricks to the treat lady – what a superstar! 🐶✨

While we couldn’t quite sneak in any pets this time, it was amazing to see Vera gradually warm up and consider the idea. You could see her little gears turning, thinking about accepting some love!

We had such a great time with Vera and were thrilled to watch her explore the store and slowly open up. We hope to see her back soon!

🐾 Reactive Dog Session: Kevin 🐾

Meet Kevin, the sweet and brave boy! Kevin came in for a session because he's a bit reactive around men (He’s a ladies man 😂). But, with some patience and positivity, we had a fantastic time!

The lady behind the counter with the bacon pup cup quickly became Kevin's best friend in no time! 🥓🐶 Although he had a little scare with a hairy pig ear, he handled it like a champ. 🤣

By the end of the session, Kevin walked away with some tasty goodies and a big smile. Hope you had a great time, Kevin! 🎉💖

🐾 Reactive Dog Session: Scooby 🐾

We had the pleasure of welcoming Scooby back for a private shopping session after hours, and what a fun time it was! This brave boy, who is battling cancer, got to pick anything in the store and got spoiled with so many treats, because he gets whatever he wants! He ended up choosing a donut that he just couldn’t let go of! 🍩

Scooby made the most of his visit, savoring every moment, especially when it came to the bacon! 🥓 He polished off his first pup cup and made it clear that the second one needed a bacon sprinkle before he'd even consider it! 😄

As a thank you, Scooby showed off some of his amazing tricks, and naturally, we had to spoil him with an extra handful of bacon before he left. 🐶

This was Scooby's second shopping experience with us, and we were thrilled to have him back. It seemed like he was just as happy to be here!

Reactive Dog: Hershey 🐶

🎉🐾 Say hello to Hershey, the resilient birthday boy who just turned 9! 🎂 Hershey came in for a special shopping session, giving him the entire store to explore at his own pace. This brave pup has been on quite the journey, overcoming double ACL surgery with the unwavering support of his mom and dad, who lovingly carried him around for three months while he healed. 💪

Now, Hershey's doing amazing and had a blast in the store- though he made sure to stay close to mom and dad. 🥹 To top it all off, we made sure he got extra spoiled for his birthday! 🎁 ❤️ We hope you had a great time and enjoyed all your goodies!

Jade came in with her foster mom today! 🐾

With her tail wagging a mile a minute, she sniffed out the store, played with staff, showed off her tricks, and kissed everyone who would get on her level! She found a new harness and some snacks to help with training while here!

Reactive Dog - Asher

Asher came in last night for another private shopping session! Asher is nervous around new people and cautious of new places. He’s starting to get comfortable around the store and is starting to take treats from our hands! He loved sniffing out goodies and being in a happy place! When he got out of the car, he was dragging mom and dad to our door! We are so lucky to get to watch dogs come out of their shells when they take advantage of this program!

We hope Asher had a great night and we can’t wait to see him again!
