These puppies and their owners began their training journey with our Puppy Head Start Class!

Over the last handful of weeks, our newest friends have been exploring new sights, sounds, textures, dogs, and people in our confidence building and socialization class!

We’ve celebrated wins every week with these puppies!

There was a surprise guest at our Therapy Dog Readiness Class!

Our facility Mail Carrier stopped in to give our Therapy Dogs in Training some great practice greeting a friendly stranger! ✉️

Lindsay is the best mail carrier and works in all weather to make sure the businesses of Millard have their mail! We were so happy to bring joy and smiles her way!

It was a Black and Tan kind of day on Friday in our Rough & Rowdy playgroup! 🖤🤎

This group likes to play, run, and wrestle with friends! It’s always a busy group so we make sure to pause play and work on our skills like sitting nicely for pictures! 🤳

Skye the Sheltie wrapped up her training program this morning! We celebrated all her progress with a trip to a dog friendly store to show off her skills and confidence! Stanley tagged along too! 🐾

Skye is a young dog that started her training off a little timid in new places, unable to settle, and was getting her self into trouble when she was overly tired or bored at home.

Throughout her customized training program, we worked on leash walking, recall, settling in the house and sprinkled in fun activities for her and her mom to do to keep her busy and fulfilled!

The crew at Pups with a Purpose wish you a very happy holiday season!

Our Daycare Program will be closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day to give our staff time to celebrate with their families. We ARE open Monday, Thursday, and Friday so feel free to schedule your pup!

Our Classes on are pause until the new year! Puppy Classes fill up quickly so reach out today to confirm your spot early!

Brrrr! With icy roads and a winter weather advisory in full swing, we’re hitting “paws” on all Saturday classes for December 14th. Safety first for you and your pups!

Stay cozy, stay safe, and maybe practice those sit-and-stays at home. We’ll be back soon with rescheduling details! 🐶✨

🎄🎓PUPPY CLASS GRADUATES, CHRISTMAS EDITION🎄🎓

We’re DECKING THE HALLS with pride as we celebrate these puppies graduating from our Advanced Puppy Skills class!

For our final class, we took a FESTIVE field trip to Cabela’s to test their newly fine-tuned skills! These HOLLY-JOLLY pups did amazing, practicing proper people greetings, walking nicely on leash around distractions, & even posing for a SANTA PAWS photo op!🎅🏼📷

We couldn’t be prouder of these little FUR-ANGELS & their dedicated owners. Their hard work shined as bright as a Christmas star🌟 and we’re so excited to watch them SLEIGH their dreams of becoming certified therapy teams! Way to go, graduates!❤️👏🏼
