So far in 2024, Muddy Paws has had not one BUT TWO litters of puppies surrendered that were positive for Parvovirus. That is 12 puppies in under two months, and we aren’t even in “Parvo Season” yet. PLEASE VACCINATE YOUR PUPPIES! This Saturday, we will be hosting our MONTHLY FREE Vaccination Clinic! Come out for a no-questions-asked clinic that is 100% FREE! As a reminder, puppies require a series of shots before being “fully covered”. Puppies can begin receiving their DHPP Parvo/Distemper vaccines at six weeks of age. They should receive a booster every three weeks until they have two boosters after twelve weeks of age. They will be “fully covered” two weeks after their final booster. During this time, for their protection, they should not go out in public unless to a vet's office, and even then, they should be carried with no paws on the ground.

2 dogs on 98th and Capehart Rd, running West. Friendly, got the male to jump in my truck but when the female wouldn't jump in he got back out. Male super friendly, female is more cautious. They are still heading west on Capehart Rd.

08/25/2023 Please Share! From Hooves & Paws Rescue of the Heartland. Our small bale hay supplier just informed us that he has no more hay until 2024. He did not get the cuts that he had hoped for and the remaining hay he cut is not able to be used for horses. YIKES! We will be reaching out to everyone we know and we ask that you do the same. We can store another 200 bales right now and are needing to secure at least 800 more small bales going in to winter. Must be grass or brome hay that is clean and w**d free. Any ideas are welcome.
