🐾 Exciting News from Good Samaritan Pet Doctor! 🏗️

We’ve officially entered the second phase of our clinic expansion! This project will roughly double our clinic space and allow us to serve even more pets and their families in the future. 👏 However, during this transition, it’s temporarily impacting our appointment capacity, and we’ve had to reschedule some appointments.

A big shoutout to Boji (pictured here) and his wonderful family for being so patient with us during this time. ❤️ Their understanding and support, along with that of our entire community, makes this growth possible and way less stressful. 🥰

🌟 We’re Still Here!🌟

You may have noticed we’ve been a bit quiet on social media, however, our clinic has been anything *but* quiet! 🐾 From scheduled spays, neuters, various surgeries, and dentals to handling last-minute emergency referrals, our weekdays have been very full.

As we step into 2025, we’re filled with gratitude for the trust our community places in us to care for your furry family members. 💖 It’s an honor to do what we love!

"Meet Freddie! 🐾 This brave kitty found himself in a tricky situation after ingesting a string, also known as a linear foreign body. The string had traveled halfway into his colon while still extending back into his small intestine. Typically, cases like this require an incision in the colon, which can lead to a more complicated recovery.

Our doctor was able to guide the foreign body through his intestines and out of his re**um without needing to make any surgical incisions to the colon! 👏

Foreign body surgeries can often be costly, but by focusing on delivering quality care at an affordable price, we’ve been able to save countless lives - just like Freddie. Recovery can now begin for this sweet boy! 💕🐱

🎉 Today we’re celebrating Sarah. Well, that’s me - I’m Sarah! 👋 😆 I am the operations lead and the creative behind our socials! 🐾✨ It’s been two amazing years since I joined Good Samaritan Pet Doctor, and I am extremely grateful for my role.

I love that every day brings new challenges, the joy of contributing to saving pets’ lives, finding ways to make our clinic run even more smoothly, and just loving on each and every pet. The icing on the cake? Working alongside some of the best humans out there! 💖

Elliot is one of our part time team members and is also studying web development at Bellevue University. Elliot is calm, caring, dependable, flexible, and funny - making such a positive impact within our team and with our clients. Their love and special ability to connect with our Dachshund friends has been especially heartwarming!

..Well, we did—but only to protect her as she heals from her spay surgery. 💕 This boss girl is healing quickly, and she's rocking that cone with style!

We know dogs often steal the show on social media, but we love our feline friends just as much. 🐱💛 Betty is the queen of her house and loves her foster cat brother, Chef Noodles, and K9 brothers Ron Swanson and Queso! Let’s give Betty some extra love! 🐾

We had to share this photo of Ollie, a brave kitty recovering from a recent amputation surgery! 🧡 This sweetheart is enjoying some downtime and a movie - Homeward Bound. 📽 Cats (and dogs) are incredibly resilient, and most adjust quickly to life on three legs. In fact, many pets begin walking just a day or two after surgery! With a little extra care, support, and love, they’re often back to their normal routine in no time. 🐾
