Krista is a Licensed Vet Tech (LVT) with over 10 years of experience in veterinary medicine. Her favorite part of the job? Literally everything! She's especially skilled in all things dental, and we couldn't be more excited to have her expertise on board. 🦷💙

At home, Krista is a proud pet parent to four dogs and two cats 🐾. Caring for your pet at home after surgery or a dental procedure is important for their quick recovery and overall well-being. Pain medication is given in-clinic and/or sent home with each pet at no additional charge to ensure they remain as comfortable as possible as they heal. Additional tools provided to support your pet's recovery at home:

📝 *Customized At-Home Care Instructions*: After-care instructions are tailored specifically for your pet. You'll receive both an electronic copy and a printed version to take home.

BunBun was referred to us for a bilateral a**l sacculectomy after having extensive a**l gland issues. Hearing BunBun is doing so well and seeing this photo is why we do what we do! 😊❤🐾

The news is continuing to spread - *routine* dental care is extremely important for each and every dog and cat! 🦷🐾Consistent, high quality dental care keeps pets protected against dental disease and other related problems. More and more owners are scheduling dental appointments with us and their full-service veterinarians. We LOVE this! 👏 Due to the high demand, we are typically about two months out for scheduling dental packages. Call, text, or email, and we will get your pet scheduled and added to our cancellation list. ✨💙

Yesterday, many of our team members brought in their very own pets for Staff Dental Day! 🦷🩺Twice a year we host this day so we can offer our hardworking, amazing team members the same high-quality, preventative dental care we provide to the community. Out of all pets we served yesterday, only two had extractions - and one of those was due to deciduous (baby) teeth. We know firsthand routine dental care means less disease, less extractions, less pain, and longer, happier lives for our pets 💯✨🥰

Bud is here today for a cryptorchid neuter. Community members were asking what surgeries we perform the most - by far, it's spay and neuters! Last year our doctor, with the support of our whole team, performed over 1,600 spay/neuters for our feline and canine friends. WOWZA! 🤩 As always, thank you for trusting us with your pets. Behind the scenes look at our clinic today! 👀 Routinely, we bring Robert's Anesthesia Repair to service all of our anesthesia machines and scavenger system. High-quality anesthesia equipment is essential to providing high-quality surgeries and dentals to your pets. This wonderful technician is making sure all machines are leak-free, calibrated, and equipped to make sure we are consistently providing reliable and safe care for each pet seen in our clinic. Our hearts go out to all impacted by the tornadoes today.

Tomorrow, Saturday April 27 we will be hosting a clinic in our office from 1-3 p.m. to assist pets in need following the tornadoes. We can see cats, dogs and pocket pets. From minor lacerations to seeking an exam for a clean bill of health or simply addressing your questions and concerns, we’re here for you.

The exam and treatment will be free, all we ask is for payment for any medications. We can also scan microchips for anyone who has found a pet and hopefully help reunite them with their owners.

We can't imagine what you are going through and hope this will help just a little.

We couldn't resist sharing a photo of how cute they are in their recovery suits! 🥰 Depending on the pet and type of surgery, recovery suits or pet onesies can be a good option as an alternative to the e-collar (aka cone of shame). If your pet is scheduled with us and you'd like to use a recovery suit, please bring it with your pet to their appointment, and our team can put it on before they go home. 🐾💙
