I hope the right person will finally read this and find me. I’ve had homes before — some good, some not so good — but none that stuck. I don’t know why. I really am such a good boy.
I love to play fetch, to go for adventures, to learn new tricks (especially when treats are involved!), and most of all, I love people. Every single person I meet is my new best friend. Bonus? I adore other dogs!
But the kennel? It’s hard for me. I try to be brave, but my heart races, and I just want out. I dream of a warm bed, a game of fetch in the yard, and someone to remind me that I’m finally safe. The people here take great care of me and will make sure I succeed. But what I really need is a home. A real, forever home.
If you’re out there, I promise you this: I will love you with my whole heart. I will be your adventure buddy, your couch companion, your best friend. I just need someone to give me the chance I’ve been waiting for.

At 1 year old, Salem is the most lovable guy in the Cat House! He adores humans and loves to cuddle and be carried. Salem is good with other cats who can be calm around him, and he has previously done well with dogs.
‼️ Salem needs your help. The free-feeding life of the Cat House has been hard on this guy. He just can’t stop eating! So Salem has gained significantly unhealthy amounts of weight and must lose some before it causes severe health issues.
The nature of our cat space means Salem has to be isolated to go on a stricter feeding schedule. He is a social, friendly cat who loves to be with people all the time. So this is a very hard transition for him. 😿
Salem is desperately seeking a forever home or even a foster where he can be active and stay on his food schedule. His life depends on it.
