If you have a pet Penguin or Polar Bear... they are safe to remain outdoors in the extreme cold.
Dogs and cats... do need extra care in the extreme cold. Their water can freeze of course. If you can bring them indoors... this is one of those nights to do it.

Nine loads of donated hay and supplies are heading to Western Kansas to help farmers whose resources were depleted by wildfires earlier this month thanks to the efforts of two men from Pottawatomie Co.

Just a quick training tip. Remember that anytime you call your dog to you, you are happy to have your dog come to you. Reward him for coming to you verbally and/or with a treat. It’s Christmas time. Never call your dog to you to correct him. If you need to make a correction you go to him. Make the correction quickly. If you don't want something to happen--don't let it happen. Enjoy time with family and friends. You've got this.
