This is Carlile, better known as Karl with a K (he’s a big Timberwolves fan). Karl enjoys playing with his foster brother and sister, playing tug, and running around the backyard. He also enjoys watching bunnies, squirrels, and anything else that moves through all windows of the house. He LOVES water, can’t get enough, and also really enjoys breakfast and dinner time. Karl likes to practice some of his tricks like sit, shake, and gentle (still practicing this one, but getting better).

Karl knows his kennel is a safe place and usually goes there when he’s tired or might be in a little trouble. He does not like to be left out if the family is going somewhere he wants to go too. He is very loving and enjoys being around his people. Once he is over the excitement of getting to go on a walk, he does well on the leash. He is a vocal boy and likes to communicate with other dogs, animals, and people. His goofy grin and love of snuggles make him a great addition to any home.

Meet Macho! This macho man is the exact opposite of being a rough and tough guy as he is just about as sweet as they come! He can be a bit shy at first in new places and around new people, but with just a few gentle pets and snuggles, he turns into a snuggle bug! Once he has acclimated to his surroundings, he is an active boy who loves to play with his toys and explore his surroundings to see what fun things he can come across. After he has made his daily rounds, he prefers to spend his afternoons snuggled up in a cozy bed, sunbathing by a sunny window, or lounging in a cat tree.

Say hello to Birdie, a two-year-old Mastiff mix. She is a delightful and affectionate canine companion ready to steal your heart! This sweet pup is a master of charm, greeting everyone with a wagging tail and gentle demeanor.

Birdie should do fine in a household with children given proper adult supervision. Coulee Region Humane Society is unsure of how she is around feline friends, but expects she'll do well with other dogs in the home given proper introductions and time to adjust.

When it comes to treats, Birdie takes them with the utmost care, showcasing her polite manners. She’s a dream on the leash, walking with grace and ease by your side.

Birdie’s playful side shines when it’s time to chase toys or balls, although she may not always retrieve them. However, her eagerness to learn is evident, and she seems to catch on quickly to new concepts.
