To keep your pets safe in extreme heat, you should
Never leave your pet in a hot vehicle, even for a few minutes. The inside temperature of the car can quickly reach 120 degrees even with the windows cracked open.
Limit exercise on hot days.
Make sure your pets have a shady place to get out of the sun.
Be careful not to over-exercise them.
Keep them indoors when it’s extremely hot.
