Praise be to God but some of yall may not like this post!
With this season numbers of deer coming in and needs skinned immediately, I am struggling to be productive on last season stuff. Those turn around times will be extended a bit. On another note, Gods true blessing on my little shop has been wonderful but I can only do so much. When I hit a number that I feel like is just to much to have a decent turn around time, I will have to stop taking in any animals except skull mounts. I do have somebody helping me a bit and that’s another blessing God has given me. Thank you guys and gals so much for allowing me to do this for y’all. I was told one day that Gods blessing would always come thru someone else and I truly believe it’s in the form of outstanding customers.

I want to take a minute and discuss, so called cull bucks!
I tell folks a lot about this happening and nobody seems to believe me. You can see in left photo that the horn pedicule has been broken and caused this deer deformity. The shed traps made of chicken wire in a V shape with corn is the worst thing possible for deer. It prematurely pulls antler off and cracks the pedicule. They will never recover from this! I don’t have an answer for telling which is bad genetics or broken pedicule. Biologist told me to give a deer to at least 170lbs before making a decision to take the deer. He is in mature stages and should have grown out of issues by then if he is going to. Y’all have a blessed deer season and give God all the glory for your time spent alone in his creation!!

This deer is not an antler trap deer!!
