❤ Meet Frank ❤

Hi I am Frank. I am a 2 year old male Welsh Terrier mix and I weigh in at around 50 POUNDS. I am neutered and up to date on my vaccinations.

Some very nice people took me in a couple of months ago when my original owners left the area. They were very good to me, and are hoping that I can find a forever home now. I am playful, but I also have no problem laying around and relaxing.

It seems I will be better fitted in a home with no cats. I do however get along with some other dogs. I may be dog selective.

I am friendly and affectionate and love all people. But because of my size I would be better suited in a home with older children.

❤ Meet Stella ❤

Hello, I am Stella a 7.5 year old hound mix. They say I always have smile on my face and a wag in my tail!

I was adopted from the SPCA some years ago. My owner was no longer able to take care of me so I regrettably have ended up searching for my home at the shelter once again.

I was spayed many years ago, and am up to date on my vaccinations. I like every human I have come into contact with and am very friendly, however I do not get along with most other dogs. A single dog home would be my best fit.
I am still very active, and I enjoy eating and playing, I do like toys.
I could stand to shed a few pounds as I am a medium sized dog, at around 55 lbs. The shelter staff is working on helping me lose weight (but I'm not helping them).

I am a very friendly and outgoing people person who was house trained and in a home for many years.

Hi I am Tw***ie, a 4.5 month old male kitten born in shelter. I am now neutered and up to date on my vaccines. I am very friendly and playful, and grab a lot of attention in the front window when visitors walk into the shelter.

I love driving my mom crazy, and playing with toy and .
I am extremely affectionate and loving.

❤ Meet Toby ❤

Hi I am Toby. I am a 7 year old male cocker spaniel. I am neutered and up to date on all my vaccinations. Though I almost had a successful adoption to get out of here, it was determined that I am very afraid of men. It seems to be that I am going to be better suited in a home with a female companion.

I get along fine with other dogs and don't seem to mind cats, but I also would probably be better suited in a home with no children or older children. Once I bond with you I am affectionate and protective.

I do like toys, but I also enjoy naps. I prefer to spend most of my time with a human companion. Napping on the couch and watching tv are more my speed these days.

A quiet home environment might be my best fit.

❤ Meet Peanut ❤

Hi I am Peanut, a 4.5 month old male kitten. I am neutered an up to date on my vaccinations. I was born blind in one eye, and I will always be this way. It doesn't stop me from anything. I am affectionate, and friendly. I get a long with other cats, and I really enjoy people.

I was transferred from another rescue, and got along well with all the other cats in the room. I enjoy naps in a sunbeam, and rolling around with toys or playing with friends in the cat room.

❤ Meet Mona ❤

Hi I am Mona. I started out looking for a home a few years ago. I am around 6 years old. When I was adopted and left the local area I became the true escape artist my breed is known to be. I can jump some fences.

I made many visits to another Animal Control and had to be bailed out of "doggy jail" many times. That is my only quirk. I am ready to go.

All that said, I am affectionate, and can be calm and lazy at times.. I do well when staff lets me hang out in the office. I like to play, and did I mention, run?

I get along well with other dogs. I would much more likely chase a cat, and cannot be in a home with them.

I would make a great companion for an active individual. I can be inquisitive and affectionate, and I am very smart.
