We have several beautiful girls that need families that will just let them come around on their own timeline and terms.
They were trapped and for some reason or another weren’t able to be returned, after they were spayed.
We want them to be able to experience life in a home…. Out of a cage!! They may not be lap cats, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t special.
Years ago we fostered a cat that was very timid and had no confidence, she was “unadoptable.” I would just hang out in her room, asking nothing of her, just hanging out with her.
Slowly she kept getting closer and closer to me, until she started asking for pets and would lay next to me on the floor.
I convinced my husband that she found her family in our home, that we should adopt her, with no expectations of her. She might always hide under the bed or never leave the kitty room, but she would always be loved and cared for.
It took time, but she is now the purrfect lap kitty, she LOVES to run through the house, playing with the other kitties.
All of this because we gave an “unadoptable kitty” a chance!!
Please consider adopting one of our shy girls, no expectations…. Just love them the way they are.
They are spayed, UTD on vaccinations, microchipped & tested for FeLV & FIV.

Nola is a quiet, sweet girl, she is a lady of few words. I asked her why she was so pretty the other day while cleaning her cage and she chirped… I stopped cleaning and just stared at her!! I had never heard her let out a peek before!!
She came to us quite shy, but is really making amazing progress…. Again, we can thank Churu for this progress!! The girl loves her Churu!!
She will be ready to find her family very soon!!

Mittsu & Tama aren’t quite ready but they are making progress every day.
They are starting to come to the front of their cage, as you approach them, if they think you have food or Churu!!
They are such great kitties with so much potential, they are just a little unsure and timid, but the Churu is helping us slowly gain their trust.
Mittsu had a back leg amputated when she first arrived, she and her sister Tama find comfort in each other and will be seeking a forever family together when the time comes.

Mama Nola was playing tonight… we love seeing our mamas being carefree and playful!! All of her kittens have found their forever families, mama will NEVER have another litter of kittens and will be ready to find her forever family very soon!! ❤️

Things like this make going to cat care every night SO worth it!! I Dream of Jeannie came to us pretty feral and timid, she started out smacking us WITH claws and has slowly started smacking us without claws (most of the time). Tonight she was actually asking for pets, this was new for me… so I had to grab my phone!! I’m SO excited to see her tomorrow to see if I get the honor of petting her again!! Let us know if you would like to join in the fun caring for kitties!! It’s incredibly rewarding!! Spending time with KITTIES is the BEST!!
