Meet Xena - female GSD. Xena must be an only pet. She has not been tested with children. This beautiful gal is special needs - she has hypothyroidism requiring twice daily meds that are relatively inexpensive, as well as a minimum of quarterly blood draws to test her thyroid levels. She tolerates all of this like a lady and has been stable for quite some time. Xena rides very well and is very intelligent and has a want to learn. Typical to her breed, she needs a job to do - walking and running the mental energy away daily is very helpful. Teaching simple tasks and cues would also help satisfy that sharp mind of hers. Zues is our senior gent. He is a 9 year old Siberian Husky who rides well and does well on leash. Zues is a comedian and likes to talk to his people. He has lived with other dogs, but wants to be the dominant member of the family. Because Zues is a senior dog, his adoption fee is $50 or if you are a senior yourself, and your adoption application is approved, you could take advantage of our Senior to Senior Free program and adopt Zues for free. Meet beautiful Rocky, a 6 yo Siberian Husky that loves to be inside. Rocky is a fun gentleman who has lived with other dogs. He does not like to share his things or his food dish with people or other dogs, but that is something easily worked with. Rocky is an adult only dog and lives to go on adventures. We were told that cats are an issue for him, but he has proven that he is ok with some cats’ personalities. Emma has been waiting and passed up many times for her forever home. She needs an active home where she can drain her mental and physical energy. She is approximately 5 years old (GSD and pit cross) and a very sweet gal. She can be shy at first - more so with males. She has never lived with cats or kids, and has not been tested with either. If you have another dog, we would have to test as Emma does want to be the boss. Emma has been kenneled in the past as well. Meet sweet Seven - fully vetted and 1000% sweet and handsome. He was found emaciated on an old forest road. Seven was a very patient boy with all the intake tests and shots and procedures to get him ready for his forever home. Seven needs to be an only pet. He rides well and walks fairly well on leash.
