I’m sad to share that one of our senior dogs Jerry passed away today 💔😢 🌈. Jerry was about 15 yrs old when he was left at the shelter by his previous owner due to his health issues and was going to be euthanized at the shelter. Jerry struggled with seizures, heart murmur, kidney disease, immune issues, and skin cysts. He was on medication, supplements, and was doing great. He had cluster seizures and didn’t make it to the vet 💔. It’s always hard saying good bye but I’ll always remember his beautiful smile and funny personality.

It’s been a difficulty week💔,we also lost Darla unexpectedly shortly after losing Dennis. Darla passed away in my arms as her body suddenly shut down quickly. The hardest part of rescue is loss. I am glad that I was able to spoil Darla with her favorite foods, give her lots of love, and comfort.❤️‍🩹

❤️‍🩹 Last night we lost Dennis 😔, he passed away peacefully in his sleep. We were hoping he was going to pull through but unfortunately his body shut down. We will miss him. We take comfort that he got to spend his golden years with us, surrounded by love and care.
