It just blows me away what people say when they inquire about our babies on other platforms.
The old saying "If it seems to good to be true, it probably is". Stay clear.
I recently looked over a pedigree for a potential home and the baby was purchased at a Pet store. I'm telling you that was a breeders nightmare. That dog was so heavily inbreed. My mouth just dropped.
I educated the family and hoped for the best.
5 yrs ago, I was in the same spot as some inquiring. Like Wow! A Pom can't be worth that m***.
Well after getting educated boy I completely understand.
If u saw my receipts for Vet Bills just for the yr you would be nope not worth it.
But a responsible breeder will vet their dogs regularly and do what needs to be done to provide happy,healthy and socialized puppies.
So the next time u inquire please be kind and understanding.
Not all breeders do as they should and because of that it definitely makes it hard on the ones that do.
*Tip when inquiring, even if it's for a pet.
Ask to see the pedigree and if u don't know how to read it ask a breeder u trust and ask if they DNA test. To the untrained and past yrs you would just breed dogs that weren't related in their pedigree or linebred. DNA testing helps make sure your not breeding 2 dogs with the same variant and producing affected puppies.
