I remember when I went to a horse show one time , they had a class that I entered called the egg and spoon race, basically you had to walk , jog and lope on your horse while holding a spoon with an egg on it. Well believe it or not I got 2nd place!! My egg finally fell off after 1 round of loping lol. The purpose was to show you have good balance and or good control of your horse at any speed. Well this is something I like to do with my dogs and dogs I'm training... Try having them heel while you have something in your hand. That will be the real test π
These two are doing great!
When I first got woody he did not get in crates or kennels very well, he would fight me and pull back. Asking a dog to get in a crate in a vehicle can also be challenging. Here I am telling him when to load up and then also waiting for me to release him. I use the word "Break" as my release word from any command I give.
Teaching Roxy to come to me when she hears the beep on the E-collar. In this video I am rewarding her when she turns towards me when she hears it. You will not hear the beep in the video. I will then start giving her a verbal βcome commandβ after numerous reps of this. She's doing so good!
Teaching Ellie and Woody leash pressure and how to walk nicely next to me. These two are so sweet!
I am blessed to have beautiful scenery to train in β€οΈ

Working with Charlie on recall and sit and down stays
Place command
Working with Charlie on distractions and verbal commands
Place command Charlie
Teaching Charlie place command. In this video, I'm showing her what I want her to do once she gets up on the cot. I will start out with little to no distractions and then work my way up. She is the sweetest dog
Calm exercises
Practicing "quiet/calm" time with Piper and Barton the Boxer puppy. Both have their individual issues. Barton the puppy has severe Crate anxiety and will drool and bite on the crate and cry ( probably one of the worst crate anxiety at such a young age). Piper is learning to just stay on place and do absolutely nothing. We will only do this for about 15 minutes.
Charlie leash walking
Look at Charlie go! She's walking great on a leash even past distraction!
Henry heel
Henry doing a great job at learning to heel next to me and auto sit when we stop. He's such a sweet boy!
